I like how treyarch put SO MUCH detail into shan-gri-la but it turned out to be one of the most hated maps of all time
+Reese Hanks It's crazy. This map has had rose the ranks so to speak as time has gone on. It isn't hated like it once was.

Another spectacular analysis Rad! As a game-design major, watching this series makes me further appreciate companies like Treyarch for their attention to world-building and detail. Keep it up :)
By the way, there is another secret on this map that you missed, one that nobody has ever mentioned before (to my knowledge).
When you're heading towards the mud-pit maze from the spawn room, turn left immediately after the spike-traps and you'll see a bunch of red soda cans tangled up in barbed wire.
On the cans, there's some pretty interesting writing. (Wont spoil it)
Let's just say that Treyarch loves to break the 4th wall once in a while...

Remember this intro. Was around this time I first found your channel through the lets explore series. Was great and can't wait for it to continue, even though I I doubt BO3 maps will be anywhere as detailed as the golden age

@3:44 above "RICHTOFEN" on the alter - it kinda looks like a face of some kind - Now clutching at straws a bit, I can see a bit of a resemblance to item #14 on your DICE video when looking at the blue prints (not exactly the same but I've just looked at it side by side for the last 5 minutes, anyone else see anything here?) Looks like it's on the back of the alter too, but Rad wasn't on it for long enough / wasn't close enough

It would be so cool that when you no clip into buildings or areas outside of the playable map, there are Easter eggs, like, say, test chambers with subjects inside, detailed rooms, etc
Zombie spawn areas could have little vortexes where zombies pop out, or say a mass grave, or something like that

Hey Rad, I have a way for you to look around Origins and maybe MOTD without modding or no-clip:
Play a game on each where you do the falling animation (from one of three mechs in Origins and from the plane onto the bridge in MOTD), Then go into theatre mode and speed up until you find when you fell. Pause mid fall and then go into spectator mode and it'll let you fly around without invisible walls getting in your way.
It won't let you go through most solid walls but it is a good way to fly around the map freely, I Suggest you open the map up prior so you have less chance of getting stuck. A shout out would be nice also, Make me feel special ;) hahah

Treyarch maps are always interesting zombies and multiplayer like i was using the spectator on firing range and the jets on those maps have pilots in them they really care about immersion even when things arent supposed to be seen

@@SilentlyMysterius1 they're Brock and Gary the reason why they went to Shangri La was cause brock thought the temple was a gateway to agartha they're trapped in an infinite loop
