One of their best songs. And this was Pre-Saturday Night Fever tunes. I think this was around 75-76 time frame. Check out "Rest your Love on me" it almost has a country sound. Also, the Brothers Gibb have many hits before 1970.

One of the most highly acclaimed Bee Gees songs is: "Fanny Be Tender With My Love". the song was so vocally complex that they never did it live in concert. You should do a reaction to that song.
This really isn't disco, it's R&B based, outstanding lyrics, beautiful melody and harmony, emotional filled magnificence. Yes, definitely some ooohs for Barry from me. This is from "Children of the World" in 1976. The whole album is spectacular. And, Jay you are right in this conversation. No better harmony. Thanks for giving us "your guys." I couldn't love them more. (Think I am the president, but I'll definitely have you in my cabinet). Oh you guys. I love you mentioned Barry White. On an episode of Jimmy Fallon's "That's my Jam" Josh Grobin was playing "Barryoke." He had to sing Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" in falsetto when Barry Gibb's picture came up and switch to low baritone when Barry White's picture came up. Total Fun!!
Better harmonies? Why ABBA of course, keep in mind this is three men doing those beautiful harmonies and ABBA was just the two ladies, so put that in perspective. The Beegees are no doubt excellent but when it comes to harmonies ABBA are simply untouchable. Peace everybody ❤❤❤.

This is like the forgotten BeeGees song, as great as it is. I’m glad you reacted to it
This really isn't disco, it's R&B based, outstanding lyrics, beautiful melody and harmony, emotional filled magnificence.
Agree with you on everything, Janice, & they're right....lots of Bee Gees fans out here🥰!! I did see that Jimmy Fallon episode before & it was hilarious😂!
@@kthor Thank you. There were lots of groups who did outstanding harmony. The Eagles come to mind, but the brothers are my favorite. I get such a kick out of Jimmy Fallon's show. Everyone knows what a beautiful voice Josh Grobin has, but Chance the Rapper was on the same episode. Who knew he could sing Country?
@@janicetrimmell6897 Other than The Eagles, I've seen others mention that The Beach Boys and Crosby, Stills & Nash had just as good or even better harmonies than the Gibbs. But sorry peeps, there's just no way in heaven....or on earth that they beat the brothers!🎼
@@mito747 except Abba's harmonies were created in the studio. So many over dubs. Bjorn and Benny were masters at creating the perfect pop sound and that 3rdd female voice. The Bee Gees were exactly the same live as on record. By the way Im a massive fan of both Abba and Bee Gees.
Their first hit to feature 100% falsetto vocals.
Ohhhh Jay!! You said it! Barry has the best falsetto ever because "He's Him"!!! Did you hear how full the chorus sounded? That's because that chorus wasn't just Robin and Mo - it was 18 tracks of Barry singing as well. Their sound engineer told the story. Said that all 18 tracks had every note, breath, and beat in perfect harmony & timimg - no mistakes! Incredible talent.
Loved your reaction and appreciation of my beloved Bee Gees!! ❤❤🎶❤❤🎶❤❤
You’re mixing this up with Too Much Heaven. That was the one with 27 tracks; 18 Barry and 9 with the 3 brothers together..
@maelilmc4079 Not according to the sound engineer and Arif Mardin.
No, that interview was about Too Much Heaven. @@bonnieplasha4684
You should look out the interview with Albhy Galuten and Karl Richardson. It’s really interesting about how their work with the BeeGees. They are in awe with Barry!
BEE GEES.. we're with you!!!
BEE GEES - WIND of CHANGE 1975 classic songs that took this group to their highest popularity during the very beginnings of classic Disco very UPBEAT song with great instrumentations ( Requested 4 U )
One of the reasons I like you guys so much is Barry is the goat voice, and pink floyd is the goat band.
Jay’s love for the BeeGees is so pure 😆
Have you heard The BeeGees and Celine Dion’s collaboration “Immortality”? Definitely a must listen.
Totally agree. The live show where they sing "Immortality" with Celine is pretty awesone
Immortality with celine is just the best! You guys should definitely do this one you would be totally blown away
Agree completely & wish they'd do more Bee Gees!
@@stevebyrne6537 Yes the "One Night Only" tour in Las Vegas was the best rendition of that song they did together. 99.99% of the time I say to always listen to the studio version of ANY song first before any live version, no matter how good it is. However, for "Immortality" it is the exact opposite for me. The live version reigns supreme on that one!!!
@@michaelderamo1866 - I think the "making of" video was the best for "Immortality". So many rave about the Vegas show in general but I thought that concert was very lack luster and my least favorite. It just had no energy. The "One for all" concert was IMO far superior. They were also younger and in better voice. The A&E Live by Request was also terrific with great audience interaction and very relaxed.
Love the Bee Gees! One of a kind.
OMGosh! I'd almost given up on hearing more BeeGees on my favorite channel!!! Now you just have to check out Fanny Be Tender (with My Heart) and you will kick yourself for not listening sooner! It's the song that legendary producer Quincy Jones ( who produced so many legendary artists and had a record of 80 Grammy Award nominations,[2] 28 Grammys,[2] and a Grammy Legend Award in 1992) said was his favorite R&B song ever!
And then check out 1987 BeeGees on You Win Again. ❤
More beautiful jewelry from the amazing Bee Gees (closer than close, still waters, and heart breaker)
This came out in 1976... I was barely 12!! This is the impact that The Bee Gees had on generations - everyone loved them! They continue to be loved and held to such high regard.. The Bee Gees rock!!
Thanks for Sharing!! 🥰😬👍❤️🇨🇦🎉
Bee gees i missing you what a talent legend are forever
Amber & Jay, here's some more good Bee Gee's songs you haven't reacted to yet: "Love You Inside Out", "Stayin' Alive", "Fanny (Be Tender with My Love)", and "Run to Me".
Yes, "Run to Me" is largely forgotten, but very worthy or resurrection.
The Only Love Barry is is awesome
I have to say your Bee Gees reactions are awesome! Seeing Jordan become such a massive fanboy of them is such a delight. After I saw your first Bee Gees reaction video I went back and watched every single reaction to them, and it's impossible to keep the smile off my face 😃
The special thing about these guys, is they are three guys , but no one sounds like family more than family.......so the vocal similarities are apparent.
Back in the day, we considered this song a ‘slow jam’ and not disco. It’s one of my favorites by the BeeGees, but like others have mentioned, “Fanny Be Tender” is also a favorite; along with “My Lover’s Prayer” (which features a small solo from Robin Gibb).
It was mentioned in a music documentary that the BeeGees were influenced by The Stylistics. If you guys haven’t reacted to “Betcha By Golly Wow” or “You Make Me Feel Brand New,” definitely give these ‘slow jams’ a listen.
Great songs from the Stylistics! So smooth & romantic!
Great reaction! The Bee Gees are awesome!
Y’all are the sweetest, cutest couple. Y’all definitely make me smile.
I love the Bee Gees . No one better. I feel like I'm the #1 fan lol. So nice to see so many people who have such good taste and recognize good Beautiful harmony. ♥
Fantastic song from one of the worlds greatest ever groups ...
What a great song with charming Barry’s beautiful and amazing falsetto ❤❤
Keep playing those older Bee Gee songs, they were always the best falsetto & Robin sings “ I’ll Be Coming Home To Massachusetts! “ So Good.👍♥️♥️♨️
Omg, the Bee Gees. Another rabbit hole scenario. Nights On Broadway comes to mind. How Do You Mend a Broken Heart, Massachusetts, New York Mining Disaster,..... I could go on and on. They also wrote hits for other stars...Emotion is another great one
Barry has layers of different voices..nature gentle....funky..incredible skill of smooth or super high falsetto...sweet romantic gentle voice🎉🎉❤wow he is gorgeous..talented..humble family musician....🎉🎉Maurice's falsetto was also amazing...Maurice had sexy deep voice...🎉Robin's unique, high vibrato..🎉🎉 Barry has a romantic sweet song named'The twelfth of Never' was really beautiful...every day i love to watch and listen to that so.g🎉
Love this song, It's sad but brilliant song. Was Number 3 in US, great success.
Congratulations and Thanks you For this reaction.
Greeting from Chile, 🇨🇱
I’m hooked on watching you two enjoying the amazing music of the BeeGees. A group that I’ve been listening to practically my whole life. (Yes, I remember exactly where I was when Andy died.) You two are wonderful.
❤ Have you done Words yet? The 60s version and the one Barry sings to his wife in Australia, so amazing!
yes the version from Australia 1979 is my fav one, he sings there with so much passion!!!
Saw Barry in an interview, and when he was asked about his favorite song out of the 1,000+ songs written by the brothers, he answered "Words" without hesitating. ❤💕
And to be complete, Andy's version of Words, a Command Performance in black tie, tux & beard, is absolutely stunning, a must-see♥️
Great reaction....I mean like.....the damn Bee Gees was something serious....200 million records sold....no question one of the best singing groups all time!
