    I hope you get a good windmuff for Christmas!

    • @poptravelorg
      @poptravelorg  5 лет назад +1

      Thank you! 😎 I'm having a windmuff now yet the audio of many videos has wind noise as the Zoom H1 even recorded wind on the body. I found that out way too late. I now use a hat to cover everything which seems to work.
      Also the firmware of the Osmo Pocket improved over the year and everything is a bit smoother. Watching a Barcelona walk from February compared to the recent Hamburg one shows a noticeable difference. I learned a bit maybe though around 100 videos will still come with sub par wind noise. We'll see how the channel goes. Next time Tallinn should be in summer. Thanks for watching and Happy holidays!

    • @rudilanilov3259
      @rudilanilov3259 5 лет назад

      I thought the windmuff was for you!!
      The sound of the wind added to the atmosphere of the video, although if you hadn't muted it with the windmuff it probably would have been too loud.
      I'll look forward to Tallinn in the summer.
      Happy Holidays to you too.

    • @sulevturnpuu5491
      @sulevturnpuu5491 5 лет назад +3

      Oh come now, this is GOOD weather. It's much worse when it's just a bit over freezing. With no snow everything is grey and muddy and rain makes you wet and cold faster than snow. In winter time there is only couple of hours sunlight and white snow helps to make it much brighter.

That Tallinn video was the 4th recording so pretty early in the channel's history and Osmo firmware. I hope to record some places again during summer months and get more places with different seasons

    • @poptravelorg
      @poptravelorg  5 лет назад +1

      Ich nehme alle chunks (4GB max) der Osmo Pocket in QuickTime (Mac), encode sie in ein Video und lade das ganz normal im Browser hoch. Oft nehme ich auch FFMPEG für Änderungen im Sound ohne neues Encoding. Post-processing ist bei solch langen 4K60 Videos derzeit noch sehr zeitintensiv, daher sind fast alle Videos nur direkt encoded

    • @poptravelorg
      @poptravelorg  4 года назад +1

      That was probably my phone. The videos from early 2019 were a bit lower quality both because of the Osmo Pocket firmware and my inexperience. I was holding my mobile phone with a map and also took photos at the same time. Sometimes there is static noise also from other electronics on the way. What time is the noise?

    • @Lex.S.theonlyone
      @Lex.S.theonlyone 5 лет назад

      POPtravel If I remember correctly, the second “n” was added (back?) around 1989-1990 (in both Estonian and Russian). The German name was Reval, if I remember right

    • @handsandman1
      @handsandman1 5 лет назад +9

      @@poptravelorg Tallin with one n is actually careless Soviet-russian way of spelling the name in cyrilica mostly, but the more essentcial reason is that the name Tallinn contains actual Estonian word LINN wich means town or city. So, with only one n at the end you misspell that word and this is just as inconsiderate as to write Lonton or Neu Jork. I apologize, if it was always written correctly with two N-s. In that case I am just explaining here why it should always have two and not just one.
