Came to see if this comment existed
$30 a month for text expander - how can people be so pretentious?
It's an ingenious solution to a problem that should never have existed in the first place.
What problem? This video shows me nothing Gmail won't do.
I personally feel this superhuman is not for everyone, anyway its nice to see something different. Thanks
This looks really lame, especially at $30 per month.
same. I think more and more people turn away from SaaS because they realize it's just "luxury services" and no need at all
Well said 👍
Yes, $30 was too much for me.
@@tygi it's called hype. "We need to invite you" is an old trick to increase waiting and pump desire. Google wave did that years ago (and many others too). The pricing model is also an old trick. "If it costs a lot it must be good", right?
@@FrancescoGadaleta Yup. Invite-only is how Google hyped Gmail, and the high-price logic is how Apple sells average quality at market leading prices.
That was a fascinating video. I have been using Superhuman for three days now and have been able to learn a lot here. I used to pause the video and immediately apply what Rahul just explained. Thanks for the video.
Same!
This has been one of the most helpful tools to aide my workflow. I can't imagine email without it.
Can you not do this with text expander? Maybe the mobile experience is not the same I guess.
Hi Francesco,
one key principle I would like to take away from this video is that software, or anything we do to be honest, that is fun to use, also enables you to be more productive in return. UI is not just about looks, it helps you focus, make less mistakes and be ultimately more effective. Anecdote at 4:35 illustrates this very well.
To much useless details - we just want to know how it works.
This is a solution looking for a problem. 😂
Amazing product. Fantastic walkthrough. Thank you.
Overhyped and really nothing to get excited about. I doubt I'd use it if it were free. The Gmail comparisons were just ridiculous and there are quicker ways to do the things he was demonstrating, Also Gmail has canned responses which match the functionality shown for superhuman - same functionality, different name. As to the triage - Gmail has labels and filtering - no need to remember some cryptic entry to bring up a prompt, to then hit a key combo, Nope labels n filters do that automatically.
Underfeatured, overhyped and ridiculously overpriced.
All in all a very disingenuous 30-minute advert.
exactly
Hey I think is actually doing something different for emails.
Signed up three times over 2 years. I've moved on and won't register when invite comes. What a way to waste revenue.
What's the shortcut for me to pay $30/m just to check my gmail?
I'm just trying to understand... 1. How is split sets any different from having say 3 tabs of Gmail open with search on 'satisfaction' or 'team members email' and and 2. Templates are free in Gmail and 3rd party... So the 30 /mo for the clean UI and speed?
Hello Francisco, Can you do a 1 week review or a 2 week user based review for Superhuman, is it really that good or just bluffing.
Most frustrating things about email in general and Gmail:
Not having my notes, comments, calls to action, reminders ALL in the same interface as the email itself. Need task management and ongoing notes per each email - and to see it all both while viewing the email AND in a summary sheet or doc or folder of some sort.
Agreed! Do you currently use any tools that address this? I just started trying eMClient which may be my favorite mail client so far, but it still lacks decent options for notes, contacts, CTAs, etc.
@@chrisscavongelli Currently using an info and personal (send as info) as my business email per Google. Two layers there. One uses snoozing, labels, etc and the other never gets archived... just see a chronological flow. Using Apple Notes and a combination of layers including sheets and Todoist cards. Sceenshots and screen recordings.
@@bommaritohawaii sounds more complex
Outlook is, in my opinion, THE BEST
Very complicated explanation. Too technical for an average user. I still didn't understand how to use it and how it will benefit me personally and support my business
Very true
LOL... call me when you get the 32 milliseconds... 50 is just too long for a render...
how do you setup Superhuman account to ask to download files so you can save in your preferred folders on phone or desktop?
Hey! You should do a video about HEY!! from basecamp.
We’ve covered it a few times Eric 😃😃
I'm trying to figure out the difference between an inline snippet and a regular snippet? Anyone?
30 for text expanding (that's literally supported by most OSs), a smart BCC/CC fields moving feature and basic inbox splitting ???? And very messy, bland and un-hierarchized UI ?
I want what those guys are smoking. Well done for the speed opti tho.
@Leland No I don't, I explained why
Superhuman is valued at $825 million. Jesus Christ. I think these VCs are running out of things to spend money on.
@@nonefvnfvnjnjnjevjenjvonej3384 Superhuman is now a colloquial term. People say they're building the Superhuman for X
Hi, thanks for sharing but I am still on the waiting list. Any chance for immediate access?
If you know people that are already using it I think you can boost your ranking in the list by getting them to refer you. It's sort of like a jump the queue feature, ping me an email Max and I'll send you some info once I ping them how this works.
Francesco :-)
The waiting list is a marketing ploy. They brag about the extent of the waiting list (and quote a figure) but won't reveal how many paid users they have.
Do you really think this service is worth $360 USD per year?
That said, if you want to get in early and intend to pay, hit @jason up on twitter.
@@SeraphimMarcopoulos it's an awesome product, dude
Still just an ordinary email client. Over-hyped and disappointing.
I will have to do a “week with Superhuman” video 🌅
To see how much an impact it is
you forgot "and piss takingly priced"
Whats wrong with Outlook?
I do not follow how the workflow is really any different to other email clients. Seriously, I am not that bothered about speed. If I have to wait 1 second for my email to load that's fine.
Spark email is free. Same same.
Still using it ?
startups are so cringey
Some are
I type ex[ternal] to reply to my vendor but it invoked my ex-girlfriend macro and I’m done. 😂
Probably what will happen if I use this.
At $30/month, no thanks! 🙄👎
You totally lost me just get on with it. Pick three topics and show them how it works quickly
Gmail is incorporating a lot of AI into it's product and tying more products to it. Not sure I would invest in this company.
omg show don't tell ... you have to listen to so much just to get to the point
$30 a month 👎:(
umm please no.
Rubbish
Get to it. Too much blah blah
