Hi doc! Very informative podcast. Thank you for All you do💙🙏 my daugther is ADD. We found out! How do we test her to see if she has a "leaky gut". She eats pretty healthy now a days, works out vigorously at times( muy Thai, dance, yoga etc)
Fungus as in Candida? You are not alone. 75% of Americans suffer from gastrointestinal problems, many have Candida overgrowth w/o knowing it. Pesticides and herbicides in GMO and some non-GMO foods act in our body as antibiotics, killing the beneficial gut microbiome, leaving space for bad bugs such as Candida to grow, and it grows out of proportion, spreading throughout the body. Candida feeds on sugar, it communicates with the brain via molecular pathways, signaling it wants food now. That's where sugar and alcohol cravings come from. I learned from a functional medicine doctor in an online webinar who works with alcoholics, to put L-glutamine powder under the tongue and let it melt, or 1 tbs powder in smoothie. I had been trying the Candida diet many times but always gave up when the sugar craving got the best out of me. But with the L-glutamine powder I finally got the tool I was missing and now I was able to follow the Candida diet. I also did a seven day water fast to get rid of the white coating on tongue (Candida, contageous) and it did help, and to my great surprise the water fast also corrected the diarrhea and constipation (on different days) I suffered from for five years (self diagnosed IBS or SIBO). I am now following the Paleo diet (I cut out dairy, grains, beans, fruits except berries which are low in sugar, table sugar, candy, store bought chocolate, soft drinks, alcohol. I still bake but using gluten free flours, I still make desserts but using stevia sweetener, I make my own chocolate). (I do not recommend an extended water fast w/o watching medical doctors on yt to give advise on how to do it. Especially re-feeding is important to do the right way or it will kill you. This is the insidious damage done by Imperialism (British and American) which led people - in this case from South Asia - to see Western ways as superior when in truth they are inferior in many aspects. I’m sad that this woman seems unaware of the 3,500 year old written medical tradition of her own culture. This is the insidious damage done by Imperialism (British and American) which led people - in this case from South Asia - to see Western ways as superior when in truth they are inferior in many aspects. Western medicine has utterly failed to understand chronic conditions, and should be reserved for acute illness and emergency treatment. Āyurveda focuses on prevention as well as cures, which is centred on food, exercise and spiritual connection (however the person sees that). Thanks for bringing these ideas to a broader public and let’s hope this doesn’t get hijacked by big-spending interest groups 🙏🏻
Can the keto diet work
What do you do when your kids hate vegetables ?
I had this problem. My solution was this: we always eat together for dinner. I eat vegetables in front of them and give them very little other options. My 8 and 11 year olds will now eat a bowl of kale on their own. I had to realize that being the parent meant I had to make this important decision about food FOR THEM.
@@biggrobb7033 YES biggrobb.. you know it brother. Be the example in life for the new generation, even if not a parent we all must be what is right for others to see! I started picking up on this when I was walking round with mainstream rappers in my hand in the shop or on the street... it made me think others will see that in my hand and boom.. there's the advertisement passed down the line! We have all damaged each other on levels some don't even realise. Bless you for your parenting skill right there.. keep on strong brother 🖖 light and love to all, look out at what people teach each other, vibe on a higher flow than these low level societal ways, onelove
Try them with green smoothies.
BiggRobb70 Thank you. It’s a struggle

The mic of Prof. Naidoo needs to bee proper fixed, its is hard to follow her articulation. Her voice sounds like from next room. Could one add subtitles in English pls ?
That's prolly the internet connection. This isn't a f:f interview. It's Skyped or Zoomed or something similar and she's prolly using a laptop.
The Get Farmacy advertize in the middle of this interview, just desmoralized everything he says and do. What a pity! What a shame to use good interviewers as a bait to lure listeners into his business.
Mark please learn how to deliver in a way that a newbie would listen to you. This should have way more views.
Plus all these ads & it disrupts yur podcasts.
Is it my imagination or does she never answer the questions?
