I switched to Orange sealant (endurance formula) years ago because of the "weeping" of Stans. Put brand new Stans in an old tire and it will weep out, whereas Orange sealant will seal those small holes and coat the inside. I run it in everything from my MTB, to my gravel bike, to my road bike. Works fine for me.
How long does Milk it sealant last in summer weather? I’m trying to find something that will reliably last 8 months. I live in Minnesota so the bike gets put away from November until May so it would be nice to put in new sealant in May and have it last til I’m done in the fall
Great info, I now live in Portugal and have a hard time getting Stans without a high fee. But I can order Milkit from Amazon Germany no problem, so I'm going to give it a try based on your excellent review.
Good to have you back man! I run Michellin Enduro Wilds and the sidewalls are leaky af... Genuienly need to pump the rear daily aha. Going to give this a blast, cheers! Also, good to see you've still got the Switchback - I've honestly ridden nothing else since I built mine :)
I've never had sealant leak like that but on Maxxis tires I see wet spots on the sidewalls (every Maxxis tire for the past 3.5 years has done this). FYI, the links to Milkit were left out of the description.

Just tried Stan’s, same thing hopeless…….always used Orange Seal…..
I've just started experimenting with OKO industrial /off road sealant, watered down, 1:1 part water...

I cut the inner tube open and it was just the same as when it went in😂
Milkit is good. The valves are awesome. But I mostly stick with black ox sealants. It’s awesome stuff.

My money is on Milkit fixing your issue! The Switchback is gold. Always gonna have it!
