I understand to take a Grab when you're exhausted. We did it also our first time in KL. Later we discovered the bus from the airport also just drives one hour to the city centre. It only costs 15 ringgit and it's easy to sleep in the bus. 😅
Yeah, it was just way easier to get a grab when we were so sleep deprived. We’ve travelled on the cheapest modes of transport since, so we can allow ourselves the minor luxury of jumping straight in a cheap taxi ride haha!
@@keangwooichoo6138 It depends on your budget. For us was 55 ringgit expensive. That's more as a Grab for two persons. For our Grab we payed 70 from the airport to the centre. Now we always take the bus they, are fast, cheap and goes several times an hour.
By the way, how much it costs to fly from London to KL direct. Air Asia, Malaysia budget airline used to have a route from KL to London, but I'm not sure whether it's still available.
@@Yasin_Affandiit was coming up at £550-600 each… way too much. No cheaper options on direct flights for when we wanted to fly. We paid nearly half that each by stopping over 👍
@@BenandMarnie Thank you for the information. Appreciate it. Well, with that long journey, you guys got the chance to experience stopping by at few international airports. 😁
The digital arrival form is electronically connected to your details on the immigration system in Malaysia. They can see the details on there screen so no need to ask for it
We always wanted to visit Malaysia anyway and KL turned out to be the cheapest airport to fly to from London! We will definitely be returning to see more of Malaysia in a couple of months 😍
@@fauzanriez9472 yeah, it was going to cost us almost double for a direct flight and time is on our side, so we’d much rather be tired and save hundreds of pounds 😀 And we love an adventure too haha 😆
I don't quite understand why you would do a two day trip from London to KL? All that stopping over in AD and hotels and sleeping in the airport? Was it a super cheap flight? IDTS. If you book any flights out there 3 months in advance and not peak time they are cheap. No need just a straight 13hr and you're there.
We booked well in advance (way more than 3 months) and this was by far the cheapest option. Even with the hotel, it was significantly cheaper! We can’t justify spending double on flights on such a small budget. What does IDTS mean?
Since u are proving u can travel neither 7000 pounds for who knows how long do u think u could tell us how much u saved how much u spend on the airport hotel etc. Tell us about the prices u spent.

Train is just 55 ringgit
@@keangwooichoo6138 like I said, we were literally operating off basically zero sleep in two days

Wow, what a journey from Heathrow, London to KLIA, KL. Welcome to KL, Malaysia. Enjoy your stay.

I see! Cool, we still had to submit the information to be safe (didn’t want any unnecessary hold ups haha) but it was all good anyway 😀
Welcome. What made you choose Malaysia as your first stop.
Hope you’re going to Penang x

45 hours? Lay over? UK , does not take so long to come to south east asia.
It does when you have to pick the cheapest flights like we did!
@@BenandMarnieindeed. Direct flight from LHR tu KUL is about 11-12 hours, but yeah it comes with a price. Your route is the more adventurous one.
