The bard class is good, but I personaly like having any intelligence based spellcaster like a wizard, arcanist or witch and give them the healer background so that their lore religion and lore nature is now intelligence based instead of wisdom. Gives me a massive boost and at lvl 5 my character has a +16-20 on those skills
Nice idea and will give it a try for another playthrough :)
    Nice guide overall

I was not aware you can change the skill tech stat!

@@LeeroyGaming 2 backgrounds can do that, first being the healer, but there is also a 2nd one can't remember the name, but it's also in the same category as healer and it makes it so that Wisdom instead of Charisma applies to persuasion

    Pretty good Guide.
I find the lack of good Guides for Pathfinder shocking!
There has to be some Guide somewhere that really covers the Game in the Length that is needed.
I already struggled to find the progression of Skills for the chosen Character. Now I know that it is this small Number Icon I have to hover over xD
All the Armor Stuff is not intuitive. I have to have a Skill before I even can wear any Armor.
How progression to Evil works wasn't explained by the Game too. And still, I am not sure if I can have ANY Class get Evil.
I build a Witch (Hagbound) with Claws but there is no Damage being inflicted at my progression state (until level 4 now).
Will I be able to have a Stealth Melee Character at low Level or when would it be effective to have one?
This Game is not good at explaining anything! Questions over Questions...

It’s a very complex game cause the system (pathfinder, which is a super complex version of d&d) is complex. As far as I know almost all classes can be evil (they MAY be one or two cant and it will clearly state it during character creation). Most of the limitations are for being lawful, good, or some sort of neutral (druids).

nice list. bard is definitely a plus. i try to add one to most of my parties
one thing on pets. horses should already be large for people to ride. really bugs me
could you do a video on how to add character portraits? i've tried using a couple videos and failed horribly

I’ll look into making a video on this. I know it can be confusing and I’ve had a few people ask me about it. Shouldn’t be a big project so I should be able to bust it out.

P.s. horses should be large at lvl 1. They only gain stats at lvl 7.

Thanks. Trying it combo simple and obvious with some not so obvious but very helpful tips. Will have a crusader system guide coming out that will make is much easier for beginners. I found it very hard to get started efficiently if you don’t know how to do it and VERY easy to mess up.
      Not with my upcoming guide:)

im curious, how much story do you miss out on if you create your own party? are companions worth it? i played ice wind dale 2 back in the day and you created your whole party which was great, i hate companions for the most part but if they have a bunch of story and quests then i feel like im missing a huge part of the game.

    • @LeeroyGaming
      @LeeroyGaming  2 года назад +1

There is bunch of conversations that are based on the characters. And there are specific quests and areas specific to certain characters. At the extreme you can miss out on unlocking an entire extra character. If you’re into story I would only create 1-2 custom chars max. If you want to power game and/or play on max difficulty then make custom characters. I recommend playing with the game characters for a first play through and then decide from there.
