Howdy from your east Tennessee neighbor. Love your adventurism and curiosity. Keep doing what you're doing man. Love your in helmet chatter 😁 with yourself. Reminds me of, me. Thanks for sharing.
Once you get that muffler locked down, loosen the band on the hanger. Slide the band back as far as it'll go so it pushes the muffler forward. Then bring it here and I'll MIG weld it together.
i think the problem all along was the hanger. it fit kind of lose. i finally got replacement parts and it fits super tight and holds it all still. no problem since then...
Thanks one of my worries on tracks like that are packs of roaming dogs that just love a chase. Sometimes on my way to work 5:00 am there would be 3 to 5 dogs laying on the road at an intersection. I only got chased once but that was enough to leave an impression. careful out there!
Had to laugh on the muffler. I was laughing with ya man. Just serviced my himi. Went for a hot lap. Kept smelling oil getting hot and that’s usually after I lube the antique chain with whatever gear lube I have left over. Pulled in my shop. And I started having Tourette’s. One drop of oil on my shop floor. The oil cooler fitting close to the engine was seeping. I snugged it up and all good. Now this is the guy that had 2 fuel pump failures. They had it in the shop for 4 months. Ended up putting a new fuel tank on as well as new fuel pump. I have the 300L and Harley so no big deal I guess. I still like the himi some how. It’s just different and old school. Thought after I got the Honda I would promptly sell it but I haven’t. Yet… if the wife don’t complain about too many bikes and she hasn’t I may just keep it. Cool video ang. Keep em rolling. Thanks.
For me - i think it came down to the clamp thing that goes all the way around it. my first one didn't hold it securely and allowed for all sorts of vibration. the next one holds it tight and no problems since then...
Love it. Its too dark, better turn right.. Turns left. Ever hopeful. Cant do 2 wheels anymore so thanks for taking me along. All the best keith.

@SomeGuyRides glad to hear it. It's not a ride ending thing but it had to be irritating.

I do remember you talking to that guy about that building! Wasn’t he fixing it up for someone else?
Yeah they were turning it into a store or something. Not sure what’s up with it. Such a cool spot.
@@SomeGuyRides if I ever hit the lotto, it’s yours buddy

Cool. My first dirt bike
why did you change it in the first place?
Good question. I think at the time I was looking for ways to jettison some bike weight…
I was waiting for some Blair Witch shit to go down :)
At least you’re out riding. The wife gave me her friggin cold now I’m home with scratchy throat coughing it sucks.

Goddamit. Drives down road….😂😂😂😂 I know how it feels.
Wouldn't have happened on a HONDA.😏
Jammer de Bammer, helaas pindakaas/ Too bad the Bummer, unfortunately peanut butter.
Get out the welder , spot weld that POS muffler on there 🤷♂️
AND ....you can believe NO salesman, ever 👌
Man, these videos showcasing your lack of mechanical skills are cringe.
I could edit all that sort of stuff out. I choose not to.
