    Being attentive to your surroundings WILL save your life one day. The one thing the Army instilled in me that I appreciate. Also, I have seen the biggest toughest guy freeze up in a fire fight, and I have witnessed the most soft-spoken small guy run head on into the shit to protect a piece of equipment. This kid ran head on into the shit...awesome kid!

      In the full interview, his dad said that they were a "no technology home" meaning him as a seventh grader didn't have a cell phone and he sometimes drove on country roads and golf carts. What that means is that he got real life experience and training by his parents, and that he learns through pure observation, not though TikTok.
      If he had his head buried in a phone every day on the bus, he would not have observed how the bus driver worked the bus. He was observant and it is what saved lives. His parents are teaching him right, something that is almost rare now.

      @DorothysYellowBrick Год назад +5

      @@Epic_C I agree wholeheartedly. When I became independent at 18 I deleted all my social media and greatly limited my media consumption, it was the best decision I made. I'm now more successful and well off than both of my abusive parents who are still Facebook addicts. Start experiencing life and stop posting about it.

    • @jonathansanders9816
      @jonathansanders9816 Год назад +8

      @Epic_C He was observant, I am sure before the driver even passed out, I am sure he heard her call in and was already on the front of his seat in anticipation. He was paying attention the whole time. While others, as you mention, were probably stuck in their phones.

    Not all heroes wear capes. As a 30+ year civil servant myself, Dylan, your being aware of your surroundings and paying attention to details along with giving direction to other students on the bus to call 911 made fire, Law enforcement and EMS's jobs easier. The swiftness of your actions not only saved the other students lives but also the life of your bus driver. Dylan you are a true hero. If he didn't act as quickly as he did when the driver passed out, that bus would have crashed straight into oncoming traffic, which would have caused serious - or even fatal - injuries to not only everyone on board, but also to the occupants of any cars it would have crashed into.

Vaccine don't have to cause that you could be born with it. It could be controlled with medication for a while, then all of a sudden for some reason a seizure starts again.
