He was a monstrous talent as a kid and shows here that he is just such an incredibly sensitive and soulful tenor saxophonist. I know that our dear departed friend, Michael Brecker, also loved and respected Bob as a young guy in Philly. Bob and I had many good musical times together, but never enough! Love you Bob!

So glad I discovered this guy. Heard him on a Dexter Wansel album and could’ve sworn it was Brecker. Wow. Reminds me of Ralph Bowen a bit too.
