Loved Tineke's Alto work.. such a West Coast Desmond - like mellow tone and style, but her own voice.....if it wasn't for the WDR BB and RUclips I'd not know she existed. So glad I found this. Lucky night.

Every time I've heard a video with Tineke Postma playing with you, I've been left with the conclusion that even though she's playing fabulously, she's being let down by her set up. Her mouthpiece, reed and ligature combination has so little projection and cut. This can work as a second alto, not so great as a featured soloist. A pity, because she can clearly play.
