GREAT fans at FANtastic (shoot me i know... hahaha) prices. Grabbed a 5 pack +1 for the last build and stuffed 3 into the new build. PWM-PST is great when you have 1-2 fan headers. Old pc is an i5-10600k with an 5600xt with a limited airflow front panel, 3 of these exact fans in the front. New pc is an i7-10900k and 6900xt with 3 of these fans in the front behind mesh. Either scenario, they work great at keeping things cool. I use the Arctic f12 series for the rear and top of both cases and have now converted my friends' sons into Arctic fan and cooler users. Prices are amazing when you can grab a 5 pack of these fans for $25-30 USD. I have spent that on one of those 'brown' fans alone and these perform at basically the same levels as that fan so It is without hesitation for me to recommend Arctic products to all I know. Take a look at the AIO coolers! or the Freezer 34 duo that nearly matches a massive cooler that costs more than double! (Looking at you Dark rock pro 4) Arctic, can you tell I'm a big '"fan"? lol (Yeah I know... biggus dorkus) HFG keep up the quality videos dude!
@@HardwareForGamers Absolutely. I caught some videos before I bought the arctic and they were the right up there with the best 'brown ones' at an unreal price so... That's why i have 6 in 2 pc's and 4 more of the f12 ones also
Thanks for the info & testing, Erik! 👍🏼 I'm replacing the stock (3 pin) rgb fans in an *MSI Gungnir 120R* case (for a new build), and I think these P12's are just what I need. I don't want rgb lighting on the fans and, while it's really nice looking, I also don't think the front panel on this MSI case will breathe very well without some help. /subscribe (I _am_ a Noctua fanboi, btw, but I'm also dirt poor. 😝)
Good to know. I've bought about 3 batches of of the F12 PWM PST's. The low price on them plus the ability to daisy chain are great. I would be interested to see the difference between the F12 & P12 for both case fan and cpu fan. Perhaps also with and without crappy case restrictions.
P for air pull (lack of air intake such as a AIO cooler or many intakes for cases like a P300 with top or bottom air flow from the front vent) or use a P for a high air flow front end case or exhaust.
Thanks for the review! Is it possible to use the PST to link a P12 (pull) with a Noctua A14 (push)? I'm looking to add one to the underside of a Noctua c14s. Or is a separate splitter required?
Interesting review. But fan speed can be regulated either by a voltage (e.g. connecting two fans in series so both have 6V) or by a PWM in BIOS or some software. I sort of miss some PWM-RPM-noise-FPM graphs or link to google docs with measurements and sound recordings cause some sounds are more annoying. Then I miss link to methodology - to see what "covered" scenario means exactly. Another interesting video could be how to design cooling - for example I have FD Define Mini, where I can have 2 front fans, bottom fan, rear fan, and 12 or 14cm top fan positions and currently 4x Arctic F12. CPU is going to be upgraded to Ryzen 5900x with SilentiumPC Fera5 cooler soon, GPU is NV 1060 (PC is mostly used for software development, I don't play many demanding games and I don't plan to overclock it). Should I use the current two push and two pull fans or is it better to put 3x Arctic P12 as front/bottom push fans via dust filters, cover top mesh with a foam and maybe remove rear fan completely to use overpressure cooling when I aim to good enough cooling with low noise (I'll see if it's possible with Ryzen9, for my current i5-4590 even Fera2 limited to 900rpm seems like an overkill, but Ryzen has twice higher (145W vs 75W) power consumption) ? By the way, thanks a lot for Rem0o Fan Control, I can finally regulate front fans without BIOS!
Hey guys I need help, will this be compatible with an a320mk + 500w psu? I saw a 5fan pack deal (maybe I'll add another 3) and I am not sure if what other accessories I should get to make it work. TIA!

yeah the value packs are a crazy good price, 5 fans for the price of 1.5 fans is like wow.

Hi Erik, thanks for taking a look at these fans. Appreciate the video. Great performance + low price point + solid warranty = great value!
Yeah pretty much, it's almost like you work for Arctic or something 🤔
Came to check this fan since I'm interested in upgrading mine and I really appreciated your calm demeanor and very professional delivery. Subbed!

FANTASTIC video! nailed every category!
Glad you liked it!
Nice video quality! Channel should ramp up soon
Thanks.
Thank you for the detailed review...
Took the decision to purchase two of these fans.
Thanks. Glad you found it helpful.
I want to buy the corsair 4000d airflow, so could you recommend me any better fans, like high airflow fans that doesn’t brake the bank?
Thank you so much! Managed to grab 3 PWM PST for 16 euros.

I did a review of the f12, and there is CPU temperature testing, now it's only on an open air test bench. ruclips.net/video/4xRKrs-Vqh4/видео.html

It would work, now if It's a good idea or ideal I'm not sure... Meaning RPM and noise may not link well.
@@HardwareForGamers Cheers for the reply. Maybe I'd be better off with another Noctua. Though only an A12 fits well on itx I believe.
That's a review that I looked for.
Great review! Just wanna know can I daisy chain Arctic P12 PWM and Arctic P12 slim? Planning to use the regular as intake then slim as exhaust.
Yes you can, but they will be spinning at the same %.

Well the price (in Germany) is actually quite a bit lower at 4,47€, which is 5,88 canadian dollars. At that price an absolute no brainer
Wow, that's a good price 👍
Hii, one question can i put these 5 coolers on chasis fan on a320m-k which support 1 A of electricity
You should be able to have up to eight on one fan header
@@HardwareForGamers but how much ampers is one fan?
@@KidEx-sg3nx 1 fan at 12v needs about .08a
@@HardwareForGamers Okey thanks, so fans are working on max at 12V?

I'm not sure what you mean compatible, but yes. Now, you will need a case to put them in.
Did you buy them, are they working well?
There is also a p12 slim variant.
Yes there is... Not sure how I missed that one.
are they good fans?
Yes they're good fans.
Thx
No problem
Bro.. are you sleeping well ? I git nothing against you, but your eyes looks like 3 days without sleep
Thx
