If she fights in wars her powers will compel her to switch to the winning side ensuring her survival also if she participates in a election, her vote will come out on top so she doesn't vote. However a drawback is victory often means dying to obtain it. Her powers can also be played against her in a sort of reverse psychology situation like what Sunspot did to make his team side win using her.

Well it is the most interesting of the group it would technically still be within effect range since his isn’t making good luck it’s making sure the pursuer gets a bad outcome,(not directly saying bad luck since I know some debate bros are gonna argue it’s not actually bad luck), so it’s less of a counter match-up and more of a mirror match. There’s also the fact that Wonder of U ability despite not being as flashy as unluck is way more devastating effects like having piece cigarettes being able to pierce, a leafy being able to cut your fingers,etc. Also if unluck of causing bad something is by labeling as “misfortune” how would we it would cause misfortune to WoU if not actively reverse it by making WoU now give “fortune”(which with the conditional removal of the ability being to stop the pursuit, would suddenly make it wonky via making good happen to the target with the goal of having them give up)
@@finalexen7789 I'm of the opinion that Wonder of U might have his powers disrupted, personally. Unluck negates the rule of Luck, and the logic behind it. That leaks into the idea of Calamity as well. He wouldn't be able to stop an Unluck event or redirect it. At that point, it's basically a gambit of getting him to touch an Unluck imbued object. 'Bad Luck Bullet' is just a name, it can apply to stuff like tape or gloves or... well, anything. It's why people joked about her throwing a pebble at someone and causing something like Gojo or Goku or Freeza to attack them. I think it should be remembered that while Wonder of U is a nigh-unstoppable force in a good few settings, Undead Unluck is one of those series where he's NOT that unique, though he sure as hell isn't suddenly impotent. It's just that he'd have a boss, I'd argue (UMA Luck, since his ability would borrow from him)... and would be actively malicious towards humanity, no doubt, like all UMA(...which would be reason to DEFINITELY panic, since he's generally more passive normally and he's STILL that scary).
And keep in mind. None of the Master Rules have entered Phase 3 yet. And they're PISSED. Beast died bc he got cocky and arrogant. In this case, she would likely stay far away from Calamity in the first place >.> Edit: Found out, she has Literally No Control over the shift in her Allegiance, her power is to Never Lose so the side she's on Will Be Victorious, but her power shifts her Allegiance to whatever side has the Higher Liklihood of Winning. Which is why she decided to stay out of the Genesis War, because she knew that if she joined the likelihood of complete chaos was overwhelmingly not in anyone's favor and this war was between her New Home of Mar's kingdom of Arakko and her Sister, Queen Genesis's, forces....
ah, one other thing regarding Nagito, his bad luck also affects him. He's gotten screwed a lot in the past, to the point where he's basically lost a ton in his life and doesn't have that long to live due to a brain tumor. Messed him up to the point where he's pretty crazy and is basically hoping that, in the end, his rollercoaster of luck will allow hope to win out in the end. And his last plan... well, while it worked how he hoped, given who he was planning against, _it succeeding at all was probably the most unlucky thing to happen to him, given how it screwed over hope's chances of winning out._ Thankfully, they had Hajime Hinata around and intervention from Makoto... though that came down to the wire too.
Just pointing out that since Negators negate concepts of the world itself that Fuuki's Luck should be just as powerful as WOU. The issue is more her Luck is more external based and can't be used for automatic defense. And requires more conditions to fire off so she wouldn't survive long enough to do so. But the rules in Undead Unluck that the negators effect can be killed in universe, WOU could in theory, be killed by Fuuka's power. I think a tag team of her and Andy can work since Andy literally can't die to WOU.
It would depend on if she could change her definition of pursuit or avoid 'pursuing' by her own definition. Or take an approach like Gappy and use both traps and forcing Wonder of U to approach YOU. There's also the theoretical potential for her to change how her ability works and the activation condition for it, since they're reliant on the user's perceptions and... there's a good few factors there, though I'll concede that it's pretty weighted in Wonder of U's favor. Her plus Andy, however, really is GG.
Not just as powerful. Shes actually stronger. In terms of overall status. Negators scale to the conceptual level. Meaning their powers cant be challenged unless its someone whos power is on par with theirs. Reality warpers and those can snap universes out of existence very easily. Its why Andy is so hard to kill. Hes literally negating the very concept of death so it would take the literal rule of death to beat him. But so far Uma Death and Andy are cancelling each other out. Which brings me to this point. Nobody can take Uma Death unless they have the same power as Andy. Every attack carries instant death. You even touch her Juniors or her. And you die instantly. No ifs ands or buts. And she hasnt even entered Phase 3. None of them have
I'm planning my own superhero story with one of the major heroes having luck powers. Essentially my plan for her is to make her the sacrificial lion who's death signal's the major turning point in the story from episodic and light hearted to darker and more story driven. For the record the villain who kills her has the power of inevitability, she WILL win in the end.

Since WOU Calamities are a form of bad luck it would be passively negated. WOUs entire kit is based in the logic behind calamity’s but negator abilities are based in the illogical and unnatural existence of the individual

Without UMA Luck, luck or probability do not exist, while the universe runs on something more predictable than Einsteinian physics. (I assume, I have only seen the anime). Whether or not WoU is luck based, it requires UMA Luck to work like it does. Fuuko negates UMA Luck and all of its effects on herself (including WoU), while her "attacks" are negating good luck of other people or objects. That being said, WoU / calamity might very well be its own distinct UMA. In that case it should be able sidestep this protection with different attacks.

It's been shown in the manga wonder of you is capable of manipulating fate, I remember when someone is eating a rokakakaka fruit piece wonder of you in it's human form states something like you might just choke and die or something around those lines and that really does happen. In jjba calamity is simply intertwined with fate and things like fortune and misfortune simply happen due to the flowing state of the universe. If I understand correctly fukko is a negator and the counter part of luck and fortune, it's too bad wonder of you isn't exactly fortune and misfortune, it's calamity and karma and by extension fate. It's been shown many times that the more "sins" a person may have the more potent calamity is. Wonder of you doesn't embody one concept because some concepts in jjba are just intertwined with each other.
Regarding Wonder of U vs Fuuko, I'd argue she would have ways to get around his defensive ability... and if we're being honest, Wonder of U's abilities are REALLY limited as they only activate *reactively* and can't be used *proactively* (And thank god, he'd actually be unstoppable if he could use it at will). If Fuuko does activate the condition, they will trigger, but... well, what's your perception of 'pursuing'? What's her's? Perception plays a really big role in Undead Unluck, to the point where it's the basis of a Negator's ability (as they do not operate under the rules and logic of the world). And Wonder of U had difficulty against a simple reporter, having to convince him and manipulate him into believing he was pursuing the head doctor instead of a story, and finagle a catastrophe to take him out, simply because he didn't see what he was doing as 'pursuing'. And then when Gappy had his trap ready, he was forced to rely on Rock Insects as a backup... that opens up a window that can be exploited (earlier on, UMA Spring, another individual with luck abilities as part of his kit, was faced down by the Union and they had to get around his defensive ability that made it so that anyone who tried to attack him would turn into a cherry tree. They got around this by instead attacking *Andy,* and hitting Spring in the crossfire). They have the potential to become liabilities for him instead of being emergency defenses by being charged with Unluck (as a big enough amount of it could result in Unluck events that can easilly catch Wonder of U in the crossfire, or cause him to touch objects imbued with Fuuko's unluck). Fuuko DEFINITELY has limited chances to win and other Negators would definitely be preferable (Unjustice, for instance, is a straight-up win button as it's user doesn't even need to THINK of pursuing)... but she's not completely out of the race. I mean, she's having to face the concept of Luck in the manga, that should count for something. Also, regarding The Balance, I would like to point out that Wonder of U's calamities tend not to go for directly fatal stuff. Simply 'pursuing' can leave you badly injured but more fatal injuries tend to build up over time. So it's possible that The Balance might be able to do some redirecting (especially if it's an automatic effect, as Wonder of U has been hit by those). (keep in mind, it's been a bit since I read Jojo's Part 8, so I might have some details wrong and that would definitely affect things, especially given how Wonder of U's powerset had... adjustments throughout Jojolion)
Fun fact: Wonder of U is theorized to retroactively alter fate to create these misfortunes. Since it holds influence over calamity a fundamental portion of logic, it transcends luck, quite literally altering the world to stop all threats. This fundamental aspect is why WoU stands at a whole other level of power with only Soft and Wet Go Beyond comparing. (For those who don’t know, the Go Beyond ability of Soft and Wet transcends logic) Here’s my theory on how the Balance would interact with WoU… it won’t interact. I’m not an expert on the Balance, but WoU is passive and infinite in range. At some point a calamity will arrive that won’t be recognized as a calamity in Tooru favor or that it even came from Tooru, if any of the calamity are at all given Tooru can’t control it’s activation.

It only has 2 volumes, so it's fairly easy to consume unlike Index. It has to do with absurd luck that works outside of the constraints of time and continuity/causality.
Fuuko is oddly the safest of them. Mainly bc it requires direct contact. As long as youre wearing something like a glove or shes wearing a glove its perfectly safe to touch her. And plus the UnLuck events vary depending on affection level. Worst you gotta worry about is something falling on you like a tin can or an empty bucket. Worst case is a meteor lol
Actually theres one more character from Undead Unluck that would be able to solo most verses. And he just entered Phase 3. And everyone is bound to his rule. Uma Time the very rule of time itself. Father time. The hands of time. He goes by many names. But he is the rule of time itself. Being near him ages you in a matter of seconds. And just like barragans Arrogante. It cannot be stopped. Also i wanna express how impressed i am with Yoshifumi for handling the final war. Like this is stuff youd expect from One Piece. He is keeping track of nine different conflicts that are happening simultaneously. The only other person i know whos aboe to handle nine of more conflicts in one arc is Oda. It aint perfect. Its a little messy due to the cuts between one fight and another. But im loving it. ITS ALL OUT WAR YALL!!!
small correction about the nagito vs WOU section, nagito’s luck wasn’t negated. he is in a cycle of bad and good luck, so when something good happens, something bad happens. getting his gun jammed was apart of that (bad luck), but surviving + izuru choosing to not finish him off was good luck. it wasn’t really negated in this scene

Just pointing out that since Negators negate concepts of the world itself that Fuuki's Luck should be just as powerful as WOU.
The issue is more her Luck is more external based and can't be used for automatic defense. And requires more conditions to fire off so she wouldn't survive long enough to do so.
But the rules in Undead Unluck that the negators effect can be killed in universe, WOU could in theory, be killed by Fuuka's power.
I think a tag team of her and Andy can work since Andy literally can't die to WOU.

It would depend on if she could change her definition of pursuit or avoid 'pursuing' by her own definition. Or take an approach like Gappy and use both traps and forcing Wonder of U to approach YOU. There's also the theoretical potential for her to change how her ability works and the activation condition for it, since they're reliant on the user's perceptions and... there's a good few factors there, though I'll concede that it's pretty weighted in Wonder of U's favor.
Her plus Andy, however, really is GG.
Not just as powerful. Shes actually stronger.
In terms of overall status. Negators scale to the conceptual level. Meaning their powers cant be challenged unless its someone whos power is on par with theirs.
Reality warpers and those can snap universes out of existence very easily.
Its why Andy is so hard to kill. Hes literally negating the very concept of death so it would take the literal rule of death to beat him. But so far Uma Death and Andy are cancelling each other out.
Which brings me to this point. Nobody can take Uma Death unless they have the same power as Andy. Every attack carries instant death. You even touch her Juniors or her. And you die instantly. No ifs ands or buts. And she hasnt even entered Phase 3. None of them have

I'm planning my own superhero story with one of the major heroes having luck powers. Essentially my plan for her is to make her the sacrificial lion who's death signal's the major turning point in the story from episodic and light hearted to darker and more story driven. For the record the villain who kills her has the power of inevitability, she WILL win in the end.

The only one I disagree with is fuuko, while I do agree she can’t kill WOU I think she’d survive because her ability negates the concept of luck from her good and bad. Since WOU Calamities are a form of bad luck it would be passively negated. WOUs entire kit is based in the logic behind calamity’s but negator abilities are based in the illogical and unnatural existence of the individual
Wonder of yous powers derive from logic and the flow of the universe not bad luck and good luck, they are simply products of fate and logic. The flow of calamity is the flow of the universe, karma and such are simply by products..

@@IAMINSIDEYOURWALLS604 Fuuko's reality is defined by UMAs, which represent fundamental concepts. Without UMA Luck, luck or probability do not exist, while the universe runs on something more predictable than Einsteinian physics. (I assume, I have only seen the anime). Whether or not WoU is luck based, it requires UMA Luck to work like it does. Fuuko negates UMA Luck and all of its effects on herself (including WoU), while her "attacks" are negating good luck of other people or objects.
That being said, WoU / calamity might very well be its own distinct UMA. In that case it should be able sidestep this protection with different attacks.
@@lars0me Wonder of you's "luck" based power is derived from the flow of the universe itself, which is "fate". It's been shown in the manga wonder of you is capable of manipulating fate, I remember when someone is eating a rokakakaka fruit piece wonder of you in it's human form states something like you might just choke and die or something around those lines and that really does happen. In jjba calamity is simply intertwined with fate and things like fortune and misfortune simply happen due to the flowing state of the universe.
If I understand correctly fukko is a negator and the counter part of luck and fortune, it's too bad wonder of you isn't exactly fortune and misfortune, it's calamity and karma and by extension fate. It's been shown many times that the more "sins" a person may have the more potent calamity is. Wonder of you doesn't embody one concept because some concepts in jjba are just intertwined with each other.
Regarding Wonder of U vs Fuuko, I'd argue she would have ways to get around his defensive ability... and if we're being honest, Wonder of U's abilities are REALLY limited as they only activate *reactively* and can't be used *proactively* (And thank god, he'd actually be unstoppable if he could use it at will). If Fuuko does activate the condition, they will trigger, but... well, what's your perception of 'pursuing'? What's her's? Perception plays a really big role in Undead Unluck, to the point where it's the basis of a Negator's ability (as they do not operate under the rules and logic of the world). And Wonder of U had difficulty against a simple reporter, having to convince him and manipulate him into believing he was pursuing the head doctor instead of a story, and finagle a catastrophe to take him out, simply because he didn't see what he was doing as 'pursuing'. And then when Gappy had his trap ready, he was forced to rely on Rock Insects as a backup... that opens up a window that can be exploited (earlier on, UMA Spring, another individual with luck abilities as part of his kit, was faced down by the Union and they had to get around his defensive ability that made it so that anyone who tried to attack him would turn into a cherry tree. They got around this by instead attacking *Andy,* and hitting Spring in the crossfire). They have the potential to become liabilities for him instead of being emergency defenses by being charged with Unluck (as a big enough amount of it could result in Unluck events that can easilly catch Wonder of U in the crossfire, or cause him to touch objects imbued with Fuuko's unluck).
Fuuko DEFINITELY has limited chances to win and other Negators would definitely be preferable (Unjustice, for instance, is a straight-up win button as it's user doesn't even need to THINK of pursuing)... but she's not completely out of the race. I mean, she's having to face the concept of Luck in the manga, that should count for something.
Also, regarding The Balance, I would like to point out that Wonder of U's calamities tend not to go for directly fatal stuff. Simply 'pursuing' can leave you badly injured but more fatal injuries tend to build up over time. So it's possible that The Balance might be able to do some redirecting (especially if it's an automatic effect, as Wonder of U has been hit by those).
(keep in mind, it's been a bit since I read Jojo's Part 8, so I might have some details wrong and that would definitely affect things, especially given how Wonder of U's powerset had... adjustments throughout Jojolion)

Fun fact: Wonder of U is theorized to retroactively alter fate to create these misfortunes. Since it holds influence over calamity a fundamental portion of logic, it transcends luck, quite literally altering the world to stop all threats. This fundamental aspect is why WoU stands at a whole other level of power with only Soft and Wet Go Beyond comparing. (For those who don’t know, the Go Beyond ability of Soft and Wet transcends logic)
Here’s my theory on how the Balance would interact with WoU… it won’t interact. I’m not an expert on the Balance, but WoU is passive and infinite in range. At some point a calamity will arrive that won’t be recognized as a calamity in Tooru favor or that it even came from Tooru, if any of the calamity are at all given Tooru can’t control it’s activation.

Fuuko is oddly the safest of them. Mainly bc it requires direct contact. As long as youre wearing something like a glove or shes wearing a glove its perfectly safe to touch her. And plus the UnLuck events vary depending on affection level. Worst you gotta worry about is something falling on you like a tin can or an empty bucket.

small correction about the nagito vs WOU section, nagito’s luck wasn’t negated. he is in a cycle of bad and good luck, so when something good happens, something bad happens. getting his gun jammed was apart of that (bad luck), but surviving + izuru choosing to not finish him off was good luck. it wasn’t really negated in this scene
