i remember when TYBW Kenpachi and Unohana dropped it was so hype . the only one i managed to pull at the time was the Yachiru but never managed to get the other 2

I was so happy to see him, and then was disappointed when I realized he was a brave battles character. I’m still gonna get him though. Maybe not 5/5 though 😂.
OG TYBW Unohana wasn't just simply "broken", she was the top powerhorse of this game for almost 2 years. She stood untouched upon the PvP n°1 spot for 1 year and created today's basis of PvP. This character was so broken that KLab had to create a new countermeasure against her everytwo months and IT DIDN'T MATTER. OG Yhwach, OG Tech PvP Yamamoto, OG Power PvP Kenny, OG Kusaka, OG Speed PvP Chad, OG Mind PvP Tsukishima, SE Nnoitora (which, in fact, countered her), all the way up until Power Jugram. Speed TLA Broken was the one which started the DT meta PvP, but today's insane amount of PvP focused soul tree skills (starting with Jugram) were all in order to counter her; of course, she was stomped by SE Nnoitora, but OG Speed Ichibei came soon after, countered him and PvP was so much of a mess that people just stoped using both Nnoitora and Ichibe, making Unohana queen of PvP again. Not just PvP, but she could auto every PvE content at the time and slash her way into almost any Senkaimon floor. This character was the most broken one this game has ever seen.

For me this is the best eoy banner in all of bbs. I know I'm biased, I've been waiting for fb bankai ichigo remake since i started playing bbs. He is my favorite ichigo design that kubo has made ( ＾ω＾ )
Even though I did not play during this time its gotta be EOY 2020. Peak character choices, they were op on release, had great visuals, was a nice send off to TYBW for the time being, and even having these characters in game is still insane ngl. So defo 2020 for me and can't wait for these characters to (hopefully) get remade when the anime covers it 🙏🙏🙏

Alot of the tybw banners were based off the manga panels/coloring that's all it means. We now have banners coming out with the correct coloring and it's adapted from the anime
The first sets of tybw character used the anime models but they were using attacks and souk bombs based on the Manga panels but now we are finally getting and will continue getting characters using attacks and coloring that were in the current anime seasons and not the Manga.
For me its the 2023 eoy banner because all 3 units were the best at the time . I don’t think senjumaru is the best overall power character .. other than that both ichigo and askin are definitely broken and yeah we don’t need to talk about the fillers .
