power has to be checked
unchecked power will take everything and anything
power has to be met with power
the war, for the west, is not about politics or "values"
it's a purely business enterprise, a "racket"
the west isn't interested in winning this war (ukraine russia war)
they want to extract as much economic benefit from it
the people, nation, sovereignty, these mean nothing under this war business-model

in order for countries to remain sovereign they need a strong military
few countries on this planet have this capability
smaller nations have to align themselves with those with whom they share interests, or goals or history or geography
if they are around unfriendly nations, they should be as neutral as possible

i've come to a sobering conclusion, about reality
it's all about power, control and resources
states want power to control the resources, which gives them more power, and then allows them to control more resources, and on and on
democracy, "values", these are just a joke, a distraction; it's foolishness
there is no democracy; there is just power, control and resources
this is what states are competing for
this is the reality in which we live

in order for states to survive in such an environment, they have to be built on the russian template, which is shared by iran, china, north korea.
the state has to have a strong military to provide security and enforce its interests
the state has to provide social cohesion for its population, which can be done through religion or secular humanism
the state conducts its economy through capitalist market dynamics (private enterprise)
i think these three elements are necessary to make a state successful in this power-control-resources reality matrix in which we live
...
political liberalism is the "values" of the west
the west should stop trying to impose this on other states;
but, i would argue, political liberalism or the idea of democracy/human rights are cynically used by the west to subvert and overthrow states that do not acquiesce to its hegemonic demands (economic)
