Garcia, Dickinson,Patton,Danzig and Soundgarden Cornell... gimme that and it's all I need as far as rock is concerned.
Just saw them live the other night in my home town, man! His hair is short now and he's not a young man anymore, but his voice is all there and lots and lots of guts. A big "Thumb" like always!

Listened to this album on the way in to work. It sounds so much better than RUclips quality here. The bass is meaty and makes my subs growl, the riffs are catchy, and John's voice is great as always. I dig it. Really reminds me of Unida some, which is one of my favorite JG bands, second to Kyuss.

Man, I've only heard about European tours so far. Don't forget about us in the states, John! I never got to see Kyuss and I need to hear your voice over a loudspeaker at a concert venue.
Just bought my ticket for the Dutch show in Tilburg. Always such a pleasure to see him play live. Just in the last two years I've seen him twice acoustic and with Slo Burn. He should not forget about the US of course. ;)

I definitely enjoy more of what John has released in his post-Kyuss career more than what that other guy has. Even though the other guy's first self titled album was pretty good. An album I don't think he has bettered since.

Howlin' Wolf and Howlihn Coyote, was damn cool, right? Blues Red Sun Valley. Have seen Kyuss back then on Sky Valley tour. Have seen UNIDA in a legendary gig. John has crashed.
for me, john garcia never did better than Hermano which stay by far my best stoner band. I miss the dave angstrom guitar sound, but hermano, unida, slo burn, vista chino,and his solo albums are always a gem. even if these latests albums are more basic than the complex and powerfull first albums of Hermano.

Garcia is great but the rest is mediocre as sad as it is. Its missing this animalic passionate drive they had in kyuss.
Nah, its the other way around. The musicianship and groove is awesome, but Garcias voice is not living up to the quality. Its too thin, lacks breadth, and he is not doing well with melody. Sorry.

@@dowens3781 I don't even remember making that comment lol. I was probably imagining a proper Kyuss reunion with equal creative input from all the guys, especially John and Josh. The music they wrote together as a songwriting duo was pretty damn underrated. And nowadays with Brant and Nick writing songs together for their band Stöner, it just makes sense for all the guys to write music together again before they get any older.

I can still see where you coming from it's not that it's bad its actually IMHO a good song it's just pretty much the same as lots of his other stuff solo or unida even Slo Burn same riff used many times before.
Im not a huge fan of Josh think QOTSA got worse and worse after Nick left, but after all the stuff done since Kyuss by all parties, i cam see Josh was the real creative force for unique riffs and song structure etc.
