Step 1 - Set Up a Domain Name
A domain name is your websites address e.g. www.websitesosimple.com
If you don't have a domain, you'll need to get one in order to set up your business email.
Normally, a domain costs about $15 per year and a business email is another $5 per month per email account.
Luckily, I've organized a pretty cool discount to save some money.

Step 2 - Create Free Business Email Address
In order to set up a free email, click advanced, then email accounts.
Here you can create up to 5 business email addresses for free.
Simply, click create to set up your first email address, enter a username and a password.
Be sure to make note of this password as you'll need it to login in the future.
That's how easy it is to set up your first business email!
You will now have 4 free email accounts remaining
Repeat the same process to create email addresses for your employees or other departments.
Step 3 - Access Business Email
To login to your business inbox now and in the future, go to Bluehost.com/webmail.
Login with the details you created in the previous step.
Instruct employees to login in here as well if you created accounts for them.
Once you log in, choose any of the webmail applications to use, they are all the same.
Then you'll arrive inside your business inbox.

I dont see options for creating email address. I think I picked the wrong Add-ons.
Click "email and office" in the left sidebar of your Bluehost dashboard. They made it easier to find since I recorded this!

So while you have this way to go. Could you also not own a domain for 10usd a year (repeat 10usd a year) plus web hosting plus a personal gmail account plus an unlimited catch all email account all for 10usd, (even dynamic web hosting using GAE) if you use gSuite?! Awesome man!

If I get a business email, but on every platform (RUclips, Spotify, etc.) I am registered with a gmail, will I be able to merge it with my gmail or change my other account's email? You need to pay domain renewal fee after one year to keep your domain name active. If your domain name remain active then only you will be able to use your email address.
If you don't renew the domain you wont be able to send emails from an email that contains that domain address. Someone else could buy the domain if they wanted to.

do you know if I can have my company name, instead of my personal name, appear in the "from" section of peoples' inbox? I changed it Gmail settings ("send mail as") but it still defaults to my first/last name.
Also is there a way to add a brand image? It says "you can't change photos for certain google accounts" (I have the G Suite for business thing...)

Hi! I really like this video. Although I have one doubt, why would someone create their business email account this way, when they have the option of creating a GSuite or O365 account? Any use case where hosting the webmail way would be better than the package deal offered by Google or Microsoft?
Gsuite is paid service and this is free way.

You should work on your email subject line to avoid spam filter.

I have a question, something am not quite sure. The $2.95 to pay, is that th only money that will be deducted from card or there's more? Cos I tried it, and the money increased.
Bluehost will charge you upfront for the entire hosting term that you select. you can select 1, 2 or 3 year hosting term on bluehost. There is no monthly plan available with bluehost.

I followed your instructions, but the emails I sent from my new business email never arrived at my personal email. After three hours of tinkering and a lot of back and forth with customer service, my email still doesn't work, and I am going to have to call in my tech guy.

What’s the difference between the one you created and the one google and Microsoft office are offering. Do they have an special perks why they charge that much per month?
email with Bluehost is free. with google it's $6 per user per month and google docs and other docs etc (but you can get these for free anyway) so maybe not worth it unless you have a team.

You need to click on "advanced" in the left sidebar, then email accounts. there you can create for free. they just moved it.
I tested my newly created email but goes to spam folder when I send a mail to other customers, can this be resolved?
You should work on your email subject line to avoid ending it in the spam folder of your recipients.

in bluehost the advance button is not working
This didn't work for me. I can't get to my dashboard. Once i paid and made an account i was automatically directed to a page about building a website. I don't have the same options you have on your screen, i was really hoping this would be a simple as it is in the video but it's not. I don't even see an option to go to my dashboard.
You can contact bluehost support to get your login credentials and login to your account on bluehost.com and then you will find same options as shown in the video.
