I loved the beginning when Billy Crystal could tell that Robin just couldn't stand not bursting out of his chair into a full fledged, high energy hour of comedy with Robin. He was just like a little kid. And Billy looks over out of the corner of his eye and lovingly says, "Just sit for awhile." ...and Robin quietly says 'Okay. Put away the cheese whiz?!' They must miss him so much. All these years later and I wish we could see him here. Epic comedy trio. Amazing man. #RobinWilliams
I miss his brilliance and intelligence. I wish his problems woukd have been known. His men Jonathan Winters suffered from severe depression. Hopefully he is at peace.
Robin played a comedy show at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood before he passed and I couldn't go. And when he passed I just felt so bad I wish I could have been there to tell him how much I loved him it broke my heart. He brought me so much laughter all my life and I thank him for that. Rest in peace my friend.
I’ve never been the laugh out loud kind of person. But when Robin Williams first came onto the scene many years ago he literally made me laugh till I cried. He brought something out in me that I’ve never felt before. I loved this man for the way he could take you anywhere through laughter. I cried the day he passed away. There are some who are so brilliant that their light shines long after they're gone. Robin, Billy and Whoopie are such people. If only we could have provided Robin enough substance to help him overcome his tragic illness here without seeking another escape. We should continue helping the homeless as a means of reflecting our appreciation for the work of these three decent human beings who represent “the better of our angels.”
Whoopie is miserable and now considers herself a victim of horrible racist white people who have kept her oppressed. The amount of people working 40hrs/week at minimum wage yet being outpriced of their apartments or not being able to buy/rent a home is growing. I work in the field. I saw a documentary and the Comic Relief video from 1987 which noted the number of homeless families was on the rise. That documentary could've been about today's situation. Also, more people 16-24 are without homes due to parents (I use the term loosely) dumping them on the streets for a variety of reasons, is on the rise. The American populace needs to realize the classic stereotype most think of when they hear "homeless" is a small percentage of the actual homeless population. People just don't see them because they clean up in bathrooms, are sleeping in their cars and or couch surfing. The public needs to lobby their respective legislators to create more affordable housing (not subsidized, necessarily, but market rate) for the people who work 40 hours a week, or more, and still can't find a safe, quality place to live.

I live in the South Pacific and New Zealand has an appalling issue with the working poor currently, many who have full time jobs and yet are living in their Cars. I was interested in the homeless ratio and I did a bit of searching and found that (on a per capita basis) in New Zealand 1 in 100 are now homeless, compared to 1 in 200 in Australia and 1 in 1,600 in America. The largest growing homeless statistic in Australia are currently women over 50 and it is becoming a crisis. Australia is trying to address the issue, as opposed to New Zealand who is not. I found your comments interesting to read. I also agree with everything you said.
