Ty for this one. I can't agree more with your points. Solid Snake never allowed his flaws to destroy his humanity. He embodies the teachings of the series.
Great video once again :) MGS1's themes still hit the hardest for me out of the series. I've been toying with the idea of making a video about the experience of playing MGS1 over 25 years and how it changes as I go through life. Hearing you compare your own experiences to that of Solid Snake's was very impactful btw. It's nice to hear someone talk about the game on a very personal level like that.
Great to hear from you again mate. That's a brilliant concept for a video. It would add a fresh perspective to the 1000s of MGS1 videos on this platform. I'd love to hear about your experiences and how they've changed. Thank you. I think MGS1 has had enough videos about the critical aspect, so it was nice to buckle down and get personal. Despite how nervous I was to do so 😵💫 Thanks again PA. ✌️
The thing I love about your content is that you focus on how the game helped you or helped you realized something. I really think this makes your stuff unique compared to the others who try to cover all bases and hit general audiences. Keep up the good work Alley.
Nice to hear from you again Jacuzzi! I really appreciate the kind words. I'm a very emotive and passionate person who really likes to engage with art on a personal level, so I'd feel disingenuous if I tried to be anything else. I'm glad it paid off, you've no idea how reassuring it is to hear those words from you. Thank you 👍
MGS was of the first PS1 games I ever played when I was 4 YO. I love it so much. For me, it's the best experience in that console and Solid Snake has been of my favourite characters since then.
@@dead_end_alley Also last year I finally got a Solid Snake figure. A McFarlane one from 1999. I always wanted a toy of Snake but in those years where I live was extremely expensive or not even avaible, plus international purchases were still very far for my family.
I don't think I could add much to what's already been said about it. It was only a taste of gameplay. So far I'm happy with the results, particularly with the fact that crouch-walking is confirmed 👍 Although I'm still nervous how the unreal engine 5 will look in cutscenes

You have pretty much the exact same connection with the game as mine then. That's awesome man. 😁

When can we expect the video about the new Snake Eater remake footage.
