The Tuareg/Targi are actually a fascinating people, they are famous for the fact that the *men* are wearing veils. The reason of this habit is that they are often traveling through dangerous terrain, under a seething sun, or right through sand storms, so they need this protection. While the women stay at 'home' in their tents, keeping the household and tending the goats, the men traveled on camels to a place where salt was obtained from a specific well, bought it, brought the salt to Timbuktu, sold it there, bought goods, and then returned to their wives. Few besides them would dare to do that, before cars became a staple in that area.
These men are also known to be fierce fighters, and some even robbers, in a fashion similar to the pirates of Somalia. As much clearer salt from mines is by now much easier to obtain, their traditional trade has died down, and the once proud people are now struggling.

But thanks to this Urban legends in time they become similar to folk fairy tale stories... how would we know why plato made atlantis? could be a similar place that actually got sunk from the rising waters or a Metaphor understood by people of his time?,
Is Robin hood a myth or a real man that is made a talk of a town before becoming a legend, why stories of europe had princess locked in towers and brave khights to king arthur & Siegfried?
is it to made a story that glorifies on why Monarchy/feudalism is respected? the lessons it makes the unique community folk talk before media makes one place had it's pride of their ethnic ideas. plus did you know dragons & cyclops are just poor undertandings of ancient people think of Dinosaur skulls & Mammoth/elephant bones? (plus Ancient Rome has been using elephants from india/south asia)
To me the story of the Man from Taurid is very interesting that it has slowly become it's Own Urban Legend while in reality started out as a harmless con to avoid/skipping certain fees & documentation of the time.
My favorite story is the Origin of the Bavarian Fire Drill Guy is Wilhelm Voigt who made an idea to impersonate a Captain (back then when Prussia existed/Imperial German Empire half poland that was so militaristic) fooled and con some lower rank soldiers to occupy a city hall & arrest the tresurer & it's Mayor while he leaves the soldiers/arrest his victims/no calls to local authorities.
while He stole the rest of the money and suddenly tuns awy to leave back to his civilian form as the Prussian military/police made their investigation.
the whole German Public and even the Great Britain was amused after he was caught that made headlines & was even Paroled by Kaiser wilhelm 2 for the astounding reverence of his military respect to a higher up but imagine if he was not caught and kept going on with his tirade as the mysterious Captain guy he won't have/possible have his statue today but be an urban legend

Should the American's stand up for him and repatriate him to justice over there, just in case? Con artists burn their bridges, so they can't even come from anywhere real. But the suicide attempt and what I'm assuming was a dangerous robbery make the whole story a good bit darker. I'd prefer a more comic reimagining.

I’ve had about 7 - all different, some more acute and some more obvious or in your face - though the “Entity Car” I’ll call it was the standout- because it was the only one of them that occurred whilst in the presence of a friend who was confused at exactly what had occurred.
And there’s not much that I find all together strange in this world. Except perhaps grown men wearing face diapers pretending you can catch a virus that’s not actually deadly or threatening in any way shape or form- and letting them d.e.w jab their kids for an apparent I.d or passport. That’s actually the fun bit about Bible stories, since Jesus and all his disciples were illiterate, all the stories were created hundreds of years after they allegedly lived. Which can be seen first-hand in the Bible, as one book (the first compiled) has Jesus mainly acting like a normal fellow. By the time you reach the fourth written chronologically, Jesus has all sorts of superpowers and is no stranger to flaunting them. He cannot be from pararall universe , because it is clear that he wanted to be noticed by people ,that's why he choose crowded and high security places .it's a big master plan

Interesting, I remember hearing about the story many times over the years, glad to finally know the real backstory rather than just the "parallel worlds" theories.

Thank you for settling that once and for all. I’m kind of sad because part of me likes a little mystery, but it is what it is. Thank you.

This is brilliant! I am so sick of dumb conspiracy theories and other nonsense being repeated unopposed on the 'net. Thank you for this.

Unopposed is right. CENSORED instead of debated is the MO these days for truly those exposing criminal conspiracies, because the wolves are guarding the henhouse.

I remember reading about this case when I was little, back in the 1970s. The true story of the man from Taured is far more interesting than the 'man from a parallel universe' story. Thank you for documenting this discovery.

Why do you have so less subscribers, your videos are so interesting and so well narrated.
Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Interesting video and I like it. I just hate the change of volume of the audio.

The conspiracy nut in 18yo me thanks you for tying up this mystery for me. I deep dove *hard* into topics like this one when I was in very formative years of my life, and I'm glad to know that it can be explained by relatively normal circumstances.

You're welcome! That's what this channel is all about - being open-minded but looking at mysteries from a fact-based perspective.

"Tuared" sounded similar to "Tuareg" A group of berber people in the southern Sahara in West Africa.
Edit: He said it. I didn't watch the whole video through

nice channel. I like to learn about mysterious events and their explanation but not necessarily being scared like how many other channels try to make me.
