I am from one of the many Indian States called Mizoram from where Ziona and his Cult resides. Mizoram literally means Land of Mizos, my tribe.
I haven't actually visited Ziona's village, Baktawng. But everybody knows he runs a well organised village with admirable work ethics which in no ways is inferior to any in the world.
If a boy reaches 10 years of age and still cannot make a sellable simple four legged stool chair, he is considered a little dim on the head. He will still be treated as a normal person and direct him to other activities where he could be more productive. They give all necessary support anyone with serious birth defects, mental or physical.
Besides carpentry, they also make pots and utensils out of recycled metal, mainly aluminium which they sell all over. I even own a few. They maintain pig, chicken and cattle farms and grow their own vegetables.
Many members will spend the whole week working in the nearby state capital city or other villages and towns. They are dropped to the city early Monday morning and picked up on Fridays by the many SUVs owned and shared by the Cult.
They all abstain from intoxicants though I am not sure about tobacco, as no one in my tribe consider it as vice.
Every normal person is literate though I have no knowledge as to how far the brighest among them have reached in their education.
Most importantly, they are a self-sufficient and thriving community.

Thank you for adding this information. Whilst polygamy isn't for me I do quite admire the family for how they function, everyone looks cared for and happy, which is more than can be said for alot of western families.
