The pink plants are called Pink Muhly Grass. They made their way into Korean landscaping and got very popular in the recent few years. But it’s now considered potentially threatening to the indigenous ecology and being monitored by the government.
Aside from that, as a Korean, I appreciate how your video conveys the “calm beauty” of the island so well. I’ve always loved your calm aesthetic, and Jeju is such a fitting place for you in that sense. Thank you for sharing your experience in such a beautiful yet relatable way. GURL I feel you.. I hiked Mt Hallasan recently and boy!!! My knees were screaming for help midway up.. Took me 12 hours to complete the entire hike up and down. T_T
Tip for anyone planning to go.. Please train yourself at least a week or 2 and prep sufficient water!!! (Pack light if possible and bring hiking sticks!!)
