This is another good crochet stitches for blankets, garments and home decor. It’s an easy crochet stitch and it’s super fun to make. Using a double crochet stitch and a crochet chain stitch.
I used a 5mm hook tidd.ly/3BKnFOG and Sheepjes stonewash XL #4 weight yarn tidd.ly/3zZfGM1. But you can use any hook size and yarn you prefer.

It’s Deep Amethyst color
What is the difference between this stitch and the shell stitch 🤔
For the solid shell stitch you’re doing to make 5 dc all into the same stitch. For the lace shell stitch you’re going to make 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc all into same space/stitch. Keep in mind that also depends on the designer if you’re following the pattern.
@@KnitcroAddict thanks 😊 I'm used to the British terminology and way of making the shell patterns. I have also adapted to the American terminology, because many patterns are of their terminology, these days.
