Thats actually crazy, I’ve never seen the full process of catching such a unit of a fish. Those fish are absolutely massive, they’re the type you would expect to catch while harpoon fishing, not rod and reel fishing. The drama (for lack of other words) is also pretty wild, but it is a shame that the intruding boat never listened until he realized what he was doing. I can clearly see from the comments some of you have never shore fished, let alone catch an almost 400lbs tuna from a boat. One has to be careful, precise, and so many things could go wrong. Anyone out there in a boat has to have what is called “SITUATIONAL AWARENESS! The other guy could have come across someone drowning and never be aware of it because he was just dead and insensitive to his surroundings. It doesn’t matter if the boat with the tuna was in the right or wrong. To be totally oblivious the way the other boat was, was just against everything a good captain should be. We should be thankful all the guy did was yell.
its pretty obvious what was really happening. the guy knew they were on with a fish, and wanted to muscle in and catch some too. probably didn't know it was a tuna or that he was over their line, but it was clear he wanted to fish in the same area because he knew they were catching fish there. reminds of when you're fishing from the bank and a guy with a boat pulls up and casts right in front of you.

I've always wondered what it's like to be a commercial fisherman. and seeing what the other guys did on that boat and kind of just running over the line it's just jaw-dropping that people have the nerve to do that even though they can see you fishing.
I think Cam handled himself very well. There’s been a lot of people who will follow someone back to the dock and fight over cutting someone off a fish.
