While the Game Boy version isn't actually played on a real GB (in fact, I think that it's being played in SMB Crossover, a fan-made game from the early 2010s), the closest thing to it is SMB Deluxe, an official Game Boy Color game released in 1999.
Man, Atari graphics are awful... I'm glad super mario bros was originally released on nes. But great video. My only complaint amd my husband's really is the Atari graphics. Great part of both our childhoods!
this may be a 4 month old video, but im asking where i could get the intellivision port for some homebrew crap. I was wondering if i could run it on real hardware.
I wish this video could have shown Luigi gameplay for all the versions of _Super Mario Bros._ shown. I'm curious to know what Luigi looked like in each version.
the intellivision version is the most surprising to me. the atari version dont even look like smb and its awful. the best looking seems to be the sega genesis version.
I can't believe that Intellivision was a 1979 console... it's just too good to be real
I think they’re super Mario was from 1971 and probably inellvison is on 1970s
Mario 1 is in 1985
Intellivision is in 1979
All too real. 😊

PICO-8 looks freaking awesome specially the pipes

Woah this sounds looks like gbc on super mario bros deluxe 11:59

Atari and Pico 8 doesn't have Luigi option 😩
@@Retromantra Do all the other versions have a Luigi option?
@jasongoldman3850 yeah they do...
@@Retromantra Cool. Thank you. You should upload Luigi gameplay from these other versions in another video.
Please upload that.
The 2600 version is called princess rescue
Super Mario Bros Crossover was made with Flash in the 2010s. So sadly we cannot play it anymore 😢

How do you run in the Atari version? There is only 1 action button.
You hold the to run and press again to jump.
@@Retromantra What about fireballs?
@AtariSwitch here is the instruction manual www.ataricompendium.com/archives/manuals/vcs/princess_rescue.pdf
Can I actually play in "SMB Crossover" ? Is this game actually exist??
Which one?
@@Retromantra SMB1
@zagabuba7485 the only one here in SMB Crossover is the Game Boy one.
atari 2600 is princess rescue
intv. is super mario bros.
pico-8 is super mario bros. 0.2
