Me too, Sheila! As someone who battled oily skin until I was about 45, the "dewy" look makes me feel like I've committed a make-up sin.

Shannon, I can highly recommend that one! The Baked Balance and Brighten is probably my most used foundation.
Morning Tina! It did look quite glowy - your original Laura Geller is very beautiful on your skin - mind, you have beautiful, clear skin so you don't need a lot of coverage anyway. I've never tried Laura Geller products myself - not sure how easy they are to get hold of here in the UK, but I might take a peek!
Hi Dez! It's funny because I think that foundation would be really pretty on a 30 something and Laura Geller makes products for more "mature women"(why do I not like that phrase?? Lol!) I wonder if it is hard to get over there??

Great review. And that's going to he a hard pass for me! With my oily skin, it would make me look like a disco ball and probably last 4 hours or less.
And I'm so glad you addressed the amount you need to use to get the rated spf. I actually prefer my foundations to NOT include an spf.

Hi sweet Tina. I never even heard of this foundation. I'm not sure if I could use it, since it contains a chemical sunscreen in addition to the mineral sunscreen. I'd have to keep it very far away from my eyes.
I like you, have very dry skin in the winter, and normal to dry in the summer. I'd probably use my Hourglass loose powder over it.
It's very pretty on your skin. Did you use a primer? Lately, I've been forgoing primer.
Ok. I see you are using one on your second day.
I like a satin finish, but I'm finding that lately, a lot of new foundations are way too glowy. I don't want to look like a disco ball either.

Hi big sis! This one definitely was not right for me! I think I am liking a more satin finish as well. What hourglass powder is your favorite? I have the Ambient lighting and really like that one and because I like it so much, it makes me want to try more powders from them.

@@tinasbestmidlifeI use just the loose powder from Hourglass. I think that there is only one. I usually buy the trial size from Sephora. There's a generous amount, and it lasts a good while. I normally only use it under my eyes. But if a foundation is too glowy, I'll lightly do the rest of my face. I heard that the Kosas pressed powder is also a good one. It's probably a lot less money!

Do you have any reviews of other serum foundations that you have absolutely loved?

To be honest, this one is not a winner for me. I just think it is just too shinny for me and I don’t like to wear a powder. On my skin I think a powder makes me look older. I definitely don’t like that tacky feeling on my skin either. I agree definitely not a natural finish more a glowy finish. I didn’t think the coverage at the end of the day was great. I think I am old school and it used to be shinny not glowy and shinny was not good. I am not used to the new glowy look. I am more of a matte girl. LOL
Good morning Sheila! I would have to agree with you. This one was just not for me. Boy! When makeup is too shiny or glowy, it really accentuates every thing wrong on your skin! Lol!
