Yes I think as long as you clean them first it is perfectly fine to donate make up brushes. I, too, like the Tree Hut brand. I may be trying that Urea foot cream to get my feet in better shape before my India wedding in January. Love your Empties videos! ❤😊

Hi Tina! I always love your empties videos (as you know!). I don't know what time in the morning you walk Louie, but have you considered ( if it's early enough) not wearing sunscreen on that first walk? I've read a lot of studies on how important it is to get that Vitamin D in our eyes and on our face first thing in the morning to help reset our circadian rhythm. I take my dogs for their first walk between 6:00-7:00 and don't wear sunscreen (sometimes pushing out to 8 on the weekends). Just a thought! Love the TreeHut body scrubs (especially the Watermelon or the Coconut scents!) I use the Urea foot cream too and love it (and I also use a glass foot file from Amazon with it...amazing!)
I don't hear the lawnmower sounds at all in your video btw!

Hi Sallie! I have also heard how important it is to get the morning light in your eyes and try to do that on my patio in the warmer months or by the window in the colder months. I guess I am a bit afraid to go without sunscreen on my face as years ago when I didn't wear sunscreen, I used to have horrible melasma on my cheeks and I guess I am just afraid of it coming back because it was definitely sun induced. Louie and I walk anywhere from 7-9ish am, so it is early, but I guess I'm still leery.

@@tinasbestmidlife Oh I totally 'get it' about the melasma as I had it as well, but I've not noticed any change in my facial skin since walking without sunscreen in the morning. I really do understand you being leery though! There is SO much in the Amazon Prime Days Sale...I have a bunch of things in my cart (including their toilet paper which is really good -- I get it all the time, LOL) but haven't officially ordered anything yet. Oh but I will!

I worked at a not-for-profit, and clean makeup brushes were donateable. Did your organization take them?

Hi sweet Tina. I love the Sephora Bakuchiol serum. I use it about 30 mins after applying my Tretinoin. And I've repurchased the Timeless Vitamin C at least 10 times. One of my favorite products.

Hi Rene! We have so many products we love in common! I am so excited because the Kohl's near me is getting Sephora! I guess that could be good or bad! lol!
I am going to ask the ladies at the resale shop about the brushes. I think I have seen them there before. I am like you and wouldn't buy used brushes, but some people have different tolerances of used things they will buy.

We have the same love of products because you have such great recommendations! We have 2 Kohl's near us, and they both have Sephora in them. However, not nearly as many products as the stand alone stores or online. I still prefer Ulta. I just find the salespeople to be so much nicer and eager to help. The heat and humidity are now awful. Temp feels like 104°. I hear thunder, and unfortunately, so does Simon. I'm watching the local news, and they're saying the temperature will be just as hot and humid tomorrow.
