Sechseläuten, a Swiss Tradition Heralds the Arrival of Spring.

The Böögg has arrived in Heiden, despite significant delays caused by Zurich's windy conditions. On the day of the burn, we were ready and excited; the city was alive with vibrant costumes, flowers, and sweets, marking a festive celebration across Zurich. The annual Guilds Parade is an event not to be missed.
The Zurich Spring Festival, a tradition for over a century, announces the arrival of spring in the city. The celebrations start with the Children's Parade on April 14, 2024, at 14:30.
The following day, April 15, 2024, the Guilds of Zurich Parade will commence at 15:00, culminating in the ceremonial burning of the Böögg, a large snowman effigy, opposite the opera house in Zurich.
