Had problems fitting these in initially. The rotating method didn't work for me I'd wiggle my ears and can actually feel the left side pop out. In the end I just used Symbio tips and large wings. The other problem I have is that I have to constantly select piano or acoustic in the app as my preferred sound resets, even though they're selected. Apparently the next firmware will fix it, according to the customer service. Anyways, keep up the good work! 😊
That’s odd. Should be addressed with firmware update but if they’re still in the return window I might would consider replacing them. Your sound ID should not be resetting like that. And thanks for watching! I appreciate it!

Bought the Liberty 2 Pro about 3 weeks ago at $110 on Amazon with a coupon discount code and that just made these earbuds the "best" value tws ever!! Love that mono mode you mentioned too. One of the things many people don't realize is that when you use the earbuds individually, you can double the listening time. In this case, the Liberty 2 Pro has a total of 32 hours of battery when use together. That means 64 hours total individually!!!! Imagine 2 and a half days without charging the case. Even Bose and Sennheiser don't have this feature. Being able to use the left bud by itself is something I wanted for a long time because my left ear never got a fatigue unlike my right ear. The sound was awesome too. This is way beyond $110 or even $150 retail price level of sound. The Liberty 2 Pro can easily compete with my Bose Sound Sport Free, Sony WF-1000XM3 or B&O E8 2.0 in term of sound quality. The Sennheiser Momentum TW may be a little bit better but for sure it's not twice better as the prices suggested. So, buy this one while they still offer the discount. You guys won't regret it.

Hi Tech Odyssey! I was so sure about buying these until you said that these were not great for the iPhone. I have an iPhone 11. Can you elaborate and should I still buy these for my iPhone 11? Thanks and I hope you do a review for the lypertek tevi and the soundcore Liberty 2 air as well! More Power to your Channel! :)
They don't sound bad. I don't want to paint that picture. I don't know what it is about iPhone but from my experience their volume/power levels are lower than some android phones. If you pair them with the apple phone and then go pair them with the pixel, they sound mostly the same but the Samsung it's much louder and sounds better. I believe it's just the Bluetooth or audio codecs that are used. So... If you have an apple phone, you're going to be fine. But I'd you have an apple and Android phone then you may, or will notice a difference in certain devices
And I will talk to Soundcore about the Liberty 2 Air. I did review the Liberty Air previously. I'll see what I can do. I'm not familiar with the Tevi. I'll have to look into them.
Hey, I've tried to connect the Liberty 2 Pro to my iPhone 7 as well as my macbook pro but the left earbuds simply does not work properly. It also fails to connect to my phone separately. Multiple resets of the earbuds haven't solved the problem. has anybody faced the same issue? How did you solve it?

@@TechOdyssey Just to let you know, the discount works and on the website there is another $30 discount, for a total of $70 off. Pretty much a no brainer, I am buying now.
Hey great video! I'm having trouble with figuring how long the buds take to charge in the case alone.. it doesn't indicate when the buds are done charging. When I charge the case by its charger plugged in, all 3 lights light up indicating that it's done. But when I'm outside and try to charge my buds in its case I basically have to play the guessing game and guess when they are done. Also mine for some reason takes over 2 hours to charge! Its Supposedly 1.5 hrs to charge not over 2 hours lol
The three lights on the case indicate the status of the case battery, not the earbuds themselves. As far as an indicator for the actual earbuds being at 100%, I'm not sure, I never looked into that. I always just put them back in the case when I'm done listening to them. They have such excellent battery life that between putting them in the case during my lunch break or travelling to and from work while I'm driving, I haven't ever full drained the battery unintentionally. Also, I'm not sure why it would be taking 2hrs. It should only take an hour and a half. Have you checked the battery status in the soundcore app when you pull them out after an hour and a half?
Call quality is gone outside and inside. It’s very clear and no issues on either end. I didn’t test them in crowded areas though, but I don’t really envision there being any issues.

I didn't mention it at all because it wasn't a widespread issue when I made the video and I didn't experience that problem so I wasn't aware of it when I made the video. However, if you look at the comments I did address it with people who brought it up.
Great review. I can't figure out how to contro the volumen with the earbuds. I'm thinking to return them unles I find out how to use the up and down on the earbuds. Anyone have any info that can I use?
I have not personally listened to the SoundSport Frees. However, Bose does make amazing audio products. I have no doubt that they are really good. the Liberty 2 Pros are also excellent and I have listened to them, and think they're the best earbuds out on the market anywhere near the price point right now. For $50 less, I'd pick up the Liberty 2 Pros. However, if you have concerns or really want to own a pair of Bose, I don't think you'll be disappointed with your decision to get them, if that's what appeals to you. I have owned Bose earbuds in the past and they have all been excellent.
I sold my bose for one main reason.you only here phone calls threw right ear and my right ear started hurting.then when u need to charge it you have the left ear fully charged and can't do anything with it...Now the sound is superior the best sound but not so loud.i love them BUT right ear only really sucks.hope that helps..Hey buy the way your review is awesome.i get mine today, will verify.
They should be really good for working out. I can’t lift weights or do much crazy exercising but or the elliptical and treadmill, they work great. They are super secure and have great sound. I don’t know why they wouldn’t be good for working out with.
They are IPX4. It’s definitely not IPX7 like some other newer earbuds but should be perfectly fine for sweat. Sure. They should be wiped off after working out but that’s just normal housekeeping for any earbuds.
Ugh. That sucks that you're having the hissing issue. It seems like this is a more widespread issue than initially reported. Thankfully mine don't have this issue but it's unfortunate that you and others are. Can you still exchange them for another model?
@@TechOdyssey I reached out to Anker for a replacement and that too had it albeit to a lesser extent. They said the replacements were an “updated version” where the sound engineers had tried to eliminate the hiss. However, it was definitely still there. Anker said “due to the limitation of the current Qualcomm platform” it was not possible to completely eliminate the hiss. Unfortunately, their claim that less than 1% of the units suffer from this, is inaccurate. If I was to hazard a guess, I’d say all units have it. One interesting thing to note. The replacement earbuds had an overall lower max volume. The original pair would get really loud at max volume, however the new pair only get 80-85% as loud as the original pair. My personal view is that the sound engineers have reduced the overall volume of the new pair so as to make the hiss less noticeable. To some degree it has worked, but by no means perfectly. In addition to this, I would say this is not a true fix because what they have done is reduce the maximum volume of the earbuds. In other words they have taken an indirect approach to try to remedy the problem which has resulted in the max volume being decreased by 15-20% or so. The maximum volume of the new earbuds is noticeably lower.
Faheem Yazdani thanks for the update. I’m supposed to meet with them we CES next week. I’m going to talk to them about it and see if they have any more information or a plan in place to deal with this issue.
@@TechOdyssey that's great. Anker did say that if/when they do finally rectify the issue fully, they will get in touch with me. I just find it difficult to believe that a company like Anker with so much technical nouse cannot fix this. Surely they have a world class team of engineers to deal with this hiss. It just ruins what is a technical marvel. Ps. Feel free to head them in the direction of my comment above. I know exactly what they've done and it isn't a true fix.
@@Feemy you nailed it. I just spoke with them too. It is widespread and not addressed; and sadly they ARE just lowering the volume and gain to try to 'jimmie-rig' it. I told them, they should have recalled them. I was gonna buy, but now I gotta over spend for sony. Or, buy a lesser version, like the air 2, or sabbat e12 ultra. Sad, what they tried to do, was a great idea; but btw 1more is gonna nail this (tech style, mostly) on the 28th of jan. (With theirs), with their new dual drivers model. Soundcore missed out with the flaw (on truly being ground breaking), and SHOULD have recalled all of them, regardless of the money, imho and got it right, and ppl would have respected it. Told me same thing, current 'qualcomm state' was the problem?? One, maybe it was 'their' chipset, so they should have just went bigger, and upped the price and charged us more, say 200+, and got it right. Because I like their company. I dont want to get a lower volume state nor a hiss and I fell in love with this tech idea and so it disappoints big time, and so dont think I am taking shots, I wanted this model the most and their ppl were nice; but I think they whiffed in the handling and executing. So, we will see. He just said in video, if we have s9 or greater (that our audio was or could be the issue; if that was the case. I am sure they would have just told all of us, hiss is from low audio quality, switch it; imo they should recall, regardless of money loss, and fix it and/or rerelease, and stop letting it be cloudy. Again, wanted this model bad, but thank God for mrkd-tech guy, I didnt burn my loot the wrong way (he saved me). Air 2 regular liberty 2 though, still 10mm diamond coated drivers, a nice product; may still go there, but not sure I can trust, if they let this model issue float on folks in this way, imo, just being honest; I want to trust them, but is a bit shaky. I have s10, but cannot trust right now, WISH I COULD. looks like 1more, because if this shortcoming, is gonna nail this tech from what I hear.
Mine doesn't have an issue. I didn't even find out about the hissing issue until I looked at some Amazon reviews. Soundcore appears to be saying that it only impacts 1% of the earbuds, but the reviews seemed more prevalent. But you never know. Usually only angry people complain so it could be disproportionate to the actual amount of earbuds people have bought. So... If you have the issue it's covered under warranty, and if it's apparent immediately during the return period of course you can go that route. I don't think it's a significant issue though.

Can you compares loudness volume and bass vs mpow m20 who better?
I have also L2 just awesome product
Nice
I hear mixed things that they are or aren't good to work out with?
They should be really good for working out. I can’t lift weights or do much crazy exercising but or the elliptical and treadmill, they work great. They are super secure and have great sound. I don’t know why they wouldn’t be good for working out with.
@@TechOdyssey i heard they're not as sweat resistant. Do you wipe them after your done working out in them typically?
They are IPX4. It’s definitely not IPX7 like some other newer earbuds but should be perfectly fine for sweat. Sure. They should be wiped off after working out but that’s just normal housekeeping for any earbuds.
@@TechOdyssey thanks for the heads up
These are absolutely amazing! My only gripe is the hiss
How is hissing noise issue ?
Mine doesn't have an issue. I didn't even find out about the hissing issue until I looked at some Amazon reviews. Soundcore appears to be saying that it only impacts 1% of the earbuds, but the reviews seemed more prevalent. But you never know. Usually only angry people complain so it could be disproportionate to the actual amount of earbuds people have bought. So... If you have the issue it's covered under warranty, and if it's apparent immediately during the return period of course you can go that route. I don't think it's a significant issue though.
Thx for input.
Even though we can return but it isn't convenience for oversea buyers.
Anyway i think it worth to take a risk .

The bass really isn’t that impressive on these compared to the Sony WFXB700. The Soundcore library 2 pro is pretty low. Even with EQ at max bass.
That sounds really odd. They have crazy good bass. Maybe you got a defective unit.
TechOdyssey would you say the bass punches as good as the Sony’s extra bass? Or less? The bass is there but it’s not a wow factor. No subwoofer kind of experience compared to Sony’s extra bass by my experience. A link to an app to help correct this maybe?
