Every movie gets hate. We need to first establish that Pushpa 2 is attracting an unusual amount of hate before launching into an analysis of said hate.
The only video on the internet that is not tone deaf and nuanced with its understanding of the film!! Thank you🙏🏻❤️ Also, it is imperative that we bring back the balance between the big and small releases, or else just like the real ecosystem, the condition is going to deteriorate real fast!🙂🙃
Formulaic, B Grade film making, made to provide cheap entertainment. However , that is exactly what more than half of the theater ticket purchasing portion of the public wants.
Oh yeah if it was that simple, bollywood clowns would be minting out your "formulaic, b grade film" to provide "cheap entertainment" and earn hundreds of crores.
People are biased, so few people support this movie others rejects it, that's it, I dont think hate is a problem in movie promotions. it do good for movie once it launch high.
It doesn’t have only a bad story, it has bad screenplay also. The cirtisism is mostly for 2nd half of the movie. I donno if critisism is the right word, rather people shouting about politics in the movie people just don’t like those cringe ultra pro max stuff. Each scene alone is cringe in 2nd half. And the action sequences are just choreographed bad rather than having less logic. First part fight scene was good comparing to this rope levitated fight. And the hate it getting is just like what jawan got. We can’t say that its because people hate allu arjun no. We love allu arjun.
Then if u say all this about this movie then why people destroyed Kanguva in the theatre's Yet it is doing well on OTT. Why people like u guys didn't come to support this movie. In reality Kanguva had more story and Pushpa had no logic. Very sad.
Cinema Appreciate course!!!? That too for school children? Why do you people take cinema to be something more than entertainment? It's not Art at all... Older black and white movies were art where actors only had very limited takes due to high cost of film rolls. Theatre is an art where performers act live...nowadays cinema with digital tech anyone can act. Let people enjoy and get entertained for 2.5 or 3.5 hrs...they can forget their real life problems at least while watching films like pushpa 2. The so called award winning and content films are not entertainment...not for general ordinary public.
There is no problem whatsoever to consider cinema as an escape. But why would you want to limit the idea of a medium only to that ? As for the appetite for general public, is there any medium, vocation, discourse that is accessible to all across its spectrum ? Is poetry or fine arts, or even nuances of sports accessible to all ? We mostly love music but how many understand the intricacies of ragas ? So wont you have to invest your time and attention if you would really be interested to go deep into something you love ?
I understand the sentiment but putting across a statement that the general audience would not connect with any small-budget movies about life, death, human connections, and so many more subjects is quite reductive!! One may not personally love to watch such films but generalizing everybody's experience is not done man!! Never take the intelligence of the audience for granted!!

I think the hate is forced. The film is not that bad.
its subjective
@Fantomstranger I said "I think". Obviously it's my subjective opinion why would I say otherwise.

First half is worth 10 Pushpa 1s. That way, it is worth my time and money. Willing to watch it again
