- Twisted sheet metal wall in Creo Parametric.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a twisted sheet metal wall in Creo Parametric. You will also learn about the parameters that control the width and angle of the twisted wall. Additionally, you will learn how to flatten a twisted wall with the correct unbent length in Creo Parametric. So let's get started.

You are king of creo... because of you I learner the basics..... 🙏 Surviving in the job 🤗
Nice tutorial, please make some tutorial about assembly and colision animation, thanks
It would be really good if you showed examples of the tooling to make these twisted parts and the difference in the calculated development and the physical part after the first trial without adjustments to see the accuracy of the system.
Thank u sir. How is that dimensions image added in creo screen sir?..
good
Hello sir,
I can't create twist component because select 1 or more items error is coming and as in your software after selection of reference line the profile is created they ask for twist axis... please tell the solution
How does that image stay on screen while working on CREO??
how to add a 90 deg bend and then a twist in z direction
Please shere one video on sheet metal unfold view in drafting including stifner, beads slots
Are you looking for a detailing video on sheet metal part?
very good video..i liked it.But I have a question: Can you please tell me, how to keep that drawing beside of your working environment.I would like to know that..please explain
It's done using video editor.
@@CADxTraining thanks for the prompt response...
How is a flange added to a twisted edge? I have a center, piece of a three-bladed fan where twist is required to set the angle of the blades. But flanges are also required to stiffen the center piece. I would appreciate a video to explain how to do this. I can also provide a photo and Creo model of my attempt.
Please mail the photo to "sandesh4satyen@gmail.com". I will get back to you.
Hello Martin, I just checked your photograph and creo model and I appreciate your effort. I just want to make clear few things related to sheet metal manufacturing. A seat metal part can be manufactured by two different ways in plant. One way is by bending process where we cut the sheet and bend it to get the final product and second way is by forming process where we use punch and die tool to form a sheet metal part. This part is a example of formed part. So to create this part in creo parametric, create a flat sheet metal wall and use a punch tool to give the shape you required. This kind of shape cannot be created using bending commands in creo parametric. I hope this will be helpful. Write me if you need further assistance. Thank you.
@@CADxTraining brother please send some company drawings for practice
Where it is used
Hi sir i get this but i didnt get smooth edges as you in my lap, please help me if there is any settings
Increase the file accuracy
I made those 2 holes, they are looking like hexagons. Rather any curved edge is not smooth. It has never happened with me before when I did part drawing. Can you help with this?
Your file accuracy is low. Go to File-Prepare-Model properties-Accuracy.
Change the accuracy as 0.0001
@@CADxTraining Thankyou sir. It worked. But now I have to change it for every new file that I make
In twist I'm not getting smooth curve and after twist if I use hole it's creating hexagonal shape hole
How to resolve this problem?
Your file accuracy is low. Go to File-Prepare-Model properties-Accuracy.
Change the accuracy as 0.0001
@@CADxTraining Thank you sir for immediate response.
Which creo version ur using
Creo 6.0
does anyone know what this part would be called in the marketplace. I need to order some
It is twisted clamp
@@CADxTraining that term isn’t returning anything like your model
have you found any? i am looking for these also, and i cant find them anywhere.
“Twisted bracket” looks pretty close.
How to calculate unbend length
Unbend length depends upon the K factor of the sheet metal material. Search for K factor formula for sheet metal in Google.
What's that 2.4
That is the drag handle for twist angle.
I'm regularly practice your Models daily one by one

I need one Assembly video on sheet metal welded frame work
