You lifted/ragdolled her. Sometimes when enemies get ragdolled under obstacles, they just die when they can't stand up. I guess the game thought she got stuck.

I once stomp killed an enemy using Kahl's 2nd ability while saying "Dodge this!", it was really funny and I laughed good
