I can only second that, your "in depth" analysis is really enjoyable. Apart from Eskimo Callboy (MC Thunger/Hypa Hypa) or Rammstein though, I'm not much of a metal fan, so I can't get too much value out of it. But great job anyway!

I'd have to say that I find his explanations interesting and easy to understand (for a lay person such as myself). When he explains the various things, I can hear what he means. Though if I listen to a song without his commentary, I hear nothing of the nuances :D

You deserve so many more views and subscribers. You are describing the things one is able to hear in those songs so accurate and precise while making it easy to listen to. I am not a native English speaker and still you are teaching me the multiple ways one can hear and enjoy music. You tell me to listen to a drum roll coming in and replay it. Before it went passed me, then u replay it, I can hear it and with that Im able to appreciate the music even more.
Thanks for the way you are reviewing music. I feel not only entertained but smarter with a better understanding of song complexity and the work that goes into it. Fun fact, they filmed this video and Hypa Hypa a day apart. Hypa Hypa was filmed after this one and they created the whole set for it themselves. This was technically the first music video made with their new lead singer, Nico. :))

If you want talented, weird, fun group go and check Maximum The Hormone, that kind of stuff happen only in Japan. They are his own brand of... well, genious insanity. Songs? Alien, Let's Talk About Menkata Cottele, Hungry Pride, Bikini Sports Ponchin. The oficial music videos, not the tributes or the fan made. And, if you are not convinced yet, is one of the favorite group of Akane (Band Maid, best rock band in the world) specially for the female who play the drums.

But if its not your cup of tea, no problems ;) For atmospheric blackend death metal (with a lot of instrumentals as well) I would throw in Shylmagoghnar, especially their debut album Emergence either the track Emergence itself or a New Dawn. For Back Metal, I know there are countless good...or better trve...ones, however I would stick with Windir - Journey to the End

I'm just binge watching a lot of your reaction videos and I simply love the way you go about them. You're not just going "wow, cool" or whatever, you explain stuff with great ear(?) for the details. For a person like me, not really good with breaking down music, it adds a lot more value to the song itself. It's like going on a journey with a guide that has knowledge, knows how to explain things and has a personality to keep you hooked listening. Kudos

I don`t know if you are aware they have 2 Singers, one of them is mostly growling and screaming. I think thats the distorted Vocal Track you are mentioning.

I feel a bit silly that I - once again - have to comment on that. But I find it so fascinating that you've got so much interesting and relevant things to say on so many parts of a video - and there are no cuts at all. You're very eloquent, which I can only be in writing (if I'm lucky), so I appreciate and enjoy that a lot. Your videos are always fun to watch!
Btw, Germany's metal scene has always been aware of them but have only ever recognised them as some "foolish idiots with edgy lyrics" more or less. So a huge part of the scene hates them, which is so sad tbh because they actually KNOW their shit. They're great musicians and I'm so glad for them that they're finally getting recognition

I love the way you give increadibly in depth breakdowns and insights that some people might miss or fail to recognise for their meaning and significance. Hi Chase, have you ever thought about doing any Fall Out Boy? I've seen a few people say that this song reminds them of Fall Out Boy. I don't see it but you might. When I asked which era, one person said FOB from the "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" era.

I love the mix of the hard hitting guitar riffs and the dance beat.....
you should do inspire the liars by dance gavin dance. less heavy and a more bubbly sound. plus will swan plays guitar like a motherlover.
One thing you should know about them is that the guy for the synths, Kevin, also does screams/shouts and backing vocals. Ex singer Sushi and Kevin screamed simultaneously on MC Thunder.
I'm not sure how much screams Nico does tho. Pretty sure the screams underneath the cleans on the verse are Kevin's, at least on tje live parts.
If you want a better comparison than MC Thunder how the old singer sounded, you should check out Best Day or Crystals
up to the Top. I think the distorted Vocals he means is screaming from the second Singer.
