Absolutely. The pinnacle of human musical endeavour.
I believe the Danish National Symphony Orchestra is currently, probably the best on the planet at the time of this recording too. We are in awe of their talent and ability to work together so professionally.
I've heard many other groups try to tackle this musical score and just weren't there yet. Don't give up, I say. There's always tomorrow, so to speak.

I'm 45yo. I watched the "trilogy" when I was maybe 10-12yo and never again. About three years ago I've found these videos from the Danish National Symphony Orchestra and their tribute to Morricone and as soon as they started I remembered all those scenes from the movies like if I'd watched them yesterday! These themes played by these amazing pool of musical talent are my favorite! I don't know if you've done it already, but watch the other two tribute videos with the themes from 'A Fistful of Dollars' and 'For a Few Dollars More', which are the first two movies of the "trilogy". Of course, both also played by the Danish National Symphony Orchestra!
    Cheers from Argentina!

That's what symphony orchestras the world around do: they unite a huge number of people in perfect synchronicity to produce beautiful pieces of music.
The skill, talent, and training it takes is amazing but it shows what humanity is capable of when we actually apply all of our skills and will to improving the world for all of us.
Beautiful and inspiring. Take inspiration from it for your own life, it is uplifting.

This is music that touches your soul, triggers emotions, and is timeless. Ennio Morricone wrote scores for several movies both in Italy and the United States. He is world renown and unfortunately he is no longer with us. His music lives on in our hearts, minds, and souls. I saw this movie for the first time on television in 1974, I have loved since that day. Epic movie and Epic music. Thank you for this video. I am glad to see that even 55 years after the movie was released people still watch it and love it as much as they did when it first came out.

I have heard many symphony orchestras do movie themes, but this was a masterpiece. Everything was balanced. No one instrument overrode the others, or the vocals. Morricone wrote a fantastic piece, but DNSO brought it to life. I was impressed with them when I listened to them with Gary Brooker performing The Whiter Shade of Pale. I have since watched many of their performances in the last couple of years, and have yet to be disappointed.

I've seen videos of 5 or 6 fine orchestras play this piece and they were great but this recording was stupid clear , perfectly recorded and my favorite BY FAR.. It evokes so much emotion . I have as much fun watching people's first reaction to this piece by this orchestra as I do listening to the piece. . I've seen it stun hip hop fans , rockers ...anyone with a soul . It changed my appreciation not long ago. You can pick out any instrument at any time and if anyone messed up you would know it instantly. Christine's voice is so fine and tuned . By far my most favorite live recording of Marricone's masterpiece. BRAVO !!!

When you are lucky enough to have a voice which is worth to get trained in the right direction, you’ll have the most beautiful instrument existing in the whole wide world

I love watching these videos. There's a good deal of fakery going on, but the moment the oboe starts, alongside the opera singer, that's when you see people really FEEL things.
    You can spot the difference.
    It's beautiful to watch.
