I guess the reason why people don't buff Congregate archetype/leader is because SY as a faction is rarely played. People just don't like it because of the whole coin generating/spending, which requires a lot of pre-planning and calculation. But this is what made this faction fun for me. Back when I was playing Gwent more often (nowadays, just sporadically), SY was my favorite faction, precisely because of the coin system. I enjoyed all leaders, although Blood Money back in the day was unplayable.
that ST engine is the opposite of NG status engine and that's some how ok. just for a second think if any of NG engines would get a buff like that every one would lose their mind over it.
While raid buffs may have been too much in total, individually I really like Skjordal buff. Devotion should be a fair bit ahead of the average points/provision, since it locks out a few options for tech cards, such as heatwave, squirrel etc. I do understand the worry that it might be a bit too strong with buff, but I think that with +1 on both power and provision(if needed), it ends up in a much better state than before, and I like it more as a buff compared to if it were to get -1prov.
It’s a pity that the balancing council is not more creative. Gwent has more than 1500 cards and people are buff or nerf always the same 200. There are so many barely played cards which could need a change. Yennefer of Vengerberg or Yennefer Illusionist for example. Renew is limited to 9 Provisions, so it’s much to expansive at 12. At ten Provisions it could create some nice ideas. Sarah and Hansi deserve a buff. We can do nothing wrong when we buff cards like Olaf, Bloody Baron, Madman Lugos and a lot of others. Instead we see every month a buff or nerf to Slave Driver, Nauzica Sergeant and so on. The influencers in the dominating Russian and Chinese communities are really boring.
Hi friend a question for you Can you create one or two gwent decks to complete the Summer cycle 2024 really really fast? Especially way of the witcher faction (also with adrenaline) and Crimson curse faction. Thanks bye
Hi men! Can you try my deck? Is funny counter the people: Toussaint Magic Lamp Troco Day Off Korathi Vigo Muzzle Radeyah Rune mage Royal decree Unicorn + Chironex combo Black blood Prophet Assire var anahid Sangreal Arcane tome Fake ciri Ursification Nilfg Champion Alba Cavalry Imperial Navy Imperial Diplomacy Buhurt Vial of forbidden Ard Feainn Turtle Slave Infantery Squirrel Illusionist (Sorry if there is any poorly translated card, I speak Spanish)
I am one hundred percent sure that people are afraid of Congregate. If there was an opportunity to put one card on all power nerf slots, then I would put Living armor. This is the true purpose of this card. Absorb power nerfs.
More than this! It is actually a buff because the cards is instantly boosted (which synergies with some NR cards) and requires one more ping to become damaged (which for example is a nerf to some SK decks )
Congregate is much stronger than many people think when you insert some damage. The main issue is that you need the synergies between your Firesworns and in a control heavy meta it’s hard to setup a scribe for coins, a token generator and a Lonley Champion or a Fallen Knight. Last season it was so lala. In a raid season it’s unplayable. But when it works it’s a lot of fun and can generate as many points as any other point slam deck.
If sandstorm, then only darude. Jokes aside you would still need something to follow up sandstorm, so prolly a tellers flurry charge. And you need to play a 6 prov, akwardwcard with no category :/

They keep nerfing syndicate but almost nobody plays it anymore. Sad af that faction is gonna die at the community hands if they dont stop it.

Wow, I wasn't thinking on that logic. Now I feel dumb. Nice!
Yep, that was a nice discovery indeed.

to kill Saskia you could use sandstorm maybe...
