She is so passionate about filmmaking. Amazing
Indeed she is! Was a pleasure to talk to her!
Best filmmaker of my generation. Can’t get her films out of head
She is up there. Really excited where the journey will go next
What an insightful interview, it's so nice listening to a director nerd out over their work and influences! Titane was astounding, I can't wait for her next project
Thank you very much for the nice words and watching!
Your pfp is cursed ma’am
@@celester.812 Thank you for noticing omg 😳💖
This movie gets better and better on rewatches. Might end up being one of my favorite films of the decade.
This movie was interesting. The more I think about it, the more it gets interesting and stays in my thoughts.
indeed it does, lingers on and on
Going to see it again today. Can't get it out my head! Love it!
Way to go! Hope the directors input helps!
@@DropMag it did! And I'm even more overwhelmed. Julia's mind is just....this woman is a genius! 🙌
Wie sympathisch kann man sein?
Julia: ja
Tolles Interview, Tom!
Danke dir! Freut mich, dass es dir gefallen hat.
The nose smashing scene reminded me of "Dogtooth".
that was tough to watch, ouch
Great interview! I love the film and I can't wait to see what's next from her! 😊
I love her. Really connected with Titane.
Gaia and Uranus, both parents of Alexia who is a new 21 st century Titan, ... well done. Julia said it was her inspiration 3 years ago before starting writing the script. The birth of a new humanity. I like her explanation with the Christian parallel, it makes sens. ''Once upon a time it was life'' was an influence in the movie ? I know both Julia parents are doctors. Her mother is a gynaecologist, Julia is fasciated by mutants. Her parents kept talking about babies born with genetic modifications.
Oh nice inside, thx for sharing! Glad you enjoyed the interview!
aww she never answered about the car crash on her movies hahah i was curious as well! excellent interview!
Elle est trop cool. Un de meilleur film de l'année.
Great Interview!
Danke diggi!
Wait, what ? It's Michel Legrand who did ''The umbrellas of cherbourg'' who did the music for '' Once upon, it was life ?'' . No wonder we all loved the song when we were young in France.
Haha yep I guess that’s what it is
i like how she shows the beauty in humanity after overcoming its´ugliest'
indeed, great observation
I honestly borderline hated this film but I still love her passion and enjoyed the interview. Also a big reason this film evoked such a strong negative reaction from me was due to how competently made it was. Beautifully shot scored and acted, but emotionally it did not connect or resonate with me at all. If it was fundamentally incompetent or technically terrible I'd just turn it off right away lol. I couldn't pull my eyes away despite not liking it. Regardless, I like to hear perspectives from visionary and unique filmmakers.
The car crash she tried to evoke I guess hahah
But thanks for the kind words!
Lamb interview soon!
This is easily the worst movie ever made... Words cannot describe how bad it is.
Taste is different but you are entitled to your opinion
Maybe you could explain why you didn’t like it
You're entitled to your opinion, but if you genuinely think this is the "worst movie ever made", odds are you've not seen many films and your opinion is wildly unfounded. I mean, I can understand not liking it, but given that it won the Palme d'Or and has high critical acclaim, I highly doubt it's the "worst movie ever made".
@@Joseph-uc5co *"but given that it won the Palme d'Or and has high critical acclaim"*
🤣🤣🤣
*"I highly doubt it's the "worst movie ever made"."*
Have you even seen it...? Let's start here: Name five national theatrical releases that were worse...
@@tonyzuco6144 Are you trolling? You made the claim it's the worst, the burden of proof is on you. I'll name one: Cats.
