Love the point about simplicity of language in section 2. It's way more important to discuss something interesting in simple language rather than something uninspiring in difficult-to-understand language. "if it's interesting to you, it'll be interesting to the examiner!"
I really like the way Kenneth thinks. You can tell he analyses and looks at the bigger picture of things and how they link before jumping in. I think it’s a skill that a lot of people overlook, but is extremely valuable. I do science regarding cosmetics and skin biology, and I don’t take the GAMSAT but this was very helpful in general for tackling any problems in life or in exams (by extracting the underlying principles of them and applying them to every area of life). Thanks for this! X

What would you say is the best way to improve vocab - e.g. vocab list, reading widely or something else? I found most advice on this can be quite broad and I'm unsure what would be most effective. I'd suggest reading widely and if you come across anything you don't understand, write it down and review it later. It's a long process but over time you'll get accustomed to more and more difficult language :)

Hello Sebastian! I’m getting into undergrad soon and I aim to sit the gamsat before I graduate. May I ask when do I have to start preparing? Do I have to start preparing by the first year of university? English isn’t my native language and Im concerned whether that will be an obstacle for me. I’ve also never studied physics, let alone excelled in physics, so I’m somewhat worried about that section.

Do you think it would be worth doing certain maths/physics units in uni to compensate for not doing Year 12 Physics ATAR/Year 12 Math Methods ATAR, which, from what I've read, is the level of physics/maths being tested in S3 of the GAMSAT? Or would self-learning be enough? Anyone is free to answer :)
Probably a bit late, but self studying is more than enough! There are heaps and heaps of resources online like Khan Academy and GAMSAT practice questions are readily available online. Get a headstart by studying those a few hours a day and you should be set. Also, it's good to get a habit of studying regularly anyways!
Guy on the left failed the meaning of gamsat, gamsat can be done with inference of knowledge even if you do not know right and wrong. It tests your ability as a future medical doctor to be able to look at different diagnosis and identify the right illness a patient may be suffering from.
Hey man love the vids, I just wondering what you found to be the optimal amount of coke to have before the gamsat. I had 1 line last year but it didnt go well for me, thinking of upping it to 5 this year to make sure i pass. Any tips would be greatly appreciated
Hey man, I found that a can of energy drink at lunch really helped give me the energy to finish out the exam. A can of coke would work well too, anything with caffeine. But seriously though dude, can't you sit the exam sober like a normal person?
"If it's not interesting to you, it's not going to be interesting to anyone else." is a ridiculous way of phrasing the point you were trying to make. I could easily write a high scoring essay based on the targets they're looking for and I promise you, with all of my being, I will not have found what I wrote remotely interesting 😂
How old were you when you started medical school? Also what did you study undergraduate? Love your videos! Edit: Also- what happens if you fail an exam? Do you get kicked out of med school or do you have a chance to sit the exam again?

These are excellent tips! I got a 54 for my first attempt and a 60 in my second attempt! I am going to use these tips for my next sitting :)
I like study with me sessions, that gives me confidence to really stretch my ability and even break the rules sometimes .

What resources do you recommend to build up on that knowledge though? Which textbooks etc. Was not covered in the video :(
There's plenty of resources online! Khan academy, ninja nerd science, noted anatomist, etc are all good places to start :)

It is marked on a curve. The minimum entry requirements aren't known until after the exam.
