When it’s time to wind down for the night or take a break, DO NOT park your truck in unauthorized areas like shopping centers, side streets, or any similar spots. Always aim to park at a Pilot, Love’s, or TA. These places not only give you peace of mind but also provide you with other drivers as witnesses. It’s a lot safer, and you avoid any unnecessary run-ins with officers or business owners, especially in small towns where you might not be welcome. Stay safe, and protect yourself out there!

It is my belief that with a broken vertebrae along with the hemorrhaging of the neck, and the position in which he was found, sitting with his back against the tree, that he did not do this to himself... I am glad they are getting a second autopsy and that the family has legal representation....

I was born and raised here in Henderson,. It is not a sundown town. There is not 1 blk person here who is afraid to go outside at night and we make up majority of the population. While their are some racist ppl here just like everywhere else..they rarely show it. It wouldnt be wise to do so in this town. We don't know. That's why a deep investigation needs to take place. That's why an independent autopsy needs to be down. When it comes down to it, this is a tragedy no matter how it plays out.
None of us were there. However we know that his family deserves the truth. There are too many unanswered questions. They took to long showing the family, and how was it a suicide before the autopsy was even done. Let’s be clear you can tell if someone hung themself by the way the rope was tied or not tied. Ropes are used to tie one door to the other once in the truck so the doors can’t be opened.

I know of 2 who hung themselves to commit suicide. If it's not done the right way, it is a painful death. There is no way there wouldn't be any defensive marks (you can make defensive marks towards yourself) these 2 people that I'm talking about did not have an open casket because it was bad. I just hope they find out what really happened. No matter what happened, it is a tragedy

Hello…..so i clicked on this video and this is the first I’ve heard of this story. So I googled his name to try and get the back story and I ran across a time line of events. Mind you, I may not have read or found everything that’s out there regarding the story, but I read he was seen on camera going into Walmart store and purchasing a rope. Leaving Walmart he stopped and handed a homeless man a wad of money. When investigated, I read he told the homeless man “ I’m not sure how much this is but if I had more I’d give it to you, or something along those lines. The homeless man stated it was $208.Then I read where he was seen parking his truck and going into woods with an object…..it doesn’t sound like he was seen on camera going in the store with someone who may have forced him to purchase the rope. No, just sound like he went in and purchased rope…why would he do that? What could he have needed rope for? Let’s say he DID need rope for something, how coincidental is it that someone who was out to murder him that day decided to go with rope instead of any other possible weapon….didnt sound like he was forced into the woods….200 is a lot to give a homeless person and he didn’t even know how much he was giving(maybe he didn’t care to count, he didn’t care of the amount he just took whatever he had and gave it) could it be at all that he knew that he planned to end it and just wanted to give homeless guy what he had on him since he knew he couldn’t take it with him??……I could be wrong but why doesn’t it sound like suicide? I will also say that as I’m typing this, I was only 8 min into this video before I paused it, went and looked up some additional info regarding this, then came back to comment so maybe my questions will be answered once I finish watching this video. Either way I’m so sorry for this tragic ending and sending prayers up for this family
Looking suddenly happy is actually one of the biggest warning signs. People who have decided for sure ARE happy because they see an end to their suffering.

How does a mother or father not know his route, especiallyif he is in the trucking business?! He was only 21. Weird! The mother couldn't even say the last time she talked to him. My son is 22 and tells me when he goes out of town, camping, to concerts...we talk every day. I know when he has low points due to his degree being a very hard one and I drive down to see him, uplift him, show him, he's not alone. Doesn't matter he's 22. This must be very very hard on her.
Every parent/child relationship is not the same. And not necessarily meaning that 1 relationship is better than the next or that 1 relationship is right or wrong. I went to the Army at 17yrs old. I didn't call them, they didn't call me very often. We didn't have a relationship like that. Many ppl I served with were similar in this way. Some don't speak to each other at all. Others, every day, like you. And a lot of young men in their 20s don't feel the need or reason to talk to parents every day. They are grown adults. They don't believe in holding mom and dad's hand anymore. That's life. This is a sad situation. I hope real evidence comes back for the family. I don't believe in real justice because you can't bring the victim back. But I hope for change. It's 2024

I just want to say for the ppl that are saying things about his mama not talking to him, we don't know the situation. For all we know, she's up at night and has been trying for months to reach out to him, knowing he's depressed and has done all she can for years to get through to him and get him help. We just dont know. And also, people are saying he looked so happy right before. I just have to say, a large majority of ppl before they commit an act as they're suggesting, act this way. I'm not saying he did this, but it would explain his behavior. 😢
They need to speak to a mental health professional. From personal experience, until I was admitted into the hospital for suicide did my family know anything. Just because you are excited or looking forward to a visit, does not mean you are not still depressed. Just speaking from experience. Also, having a broken neck as a result of hanging YOURSELF is common. Praying for the family for comfort.

Most people who are suicidal appear happy to others around him, it’s why suicide is hard for families to accept. There a rarely signs of suicide that is why it’s hard to prevent, being employed doesn’t mean somebody won’t be suicidal. Millionaires who have happy lives and not a care in the world commit suicide. People kill themselves in public in front of others all the time.

It wasn’t a truck stop. It was a truck repair center. There wouldn’t necessarily have been a lot of other truckers around.
Check the clerk that turned him away to be sure it wasn’t a set up.

My son is 22 and tells me when he goes out of town, camping, to concerts...we talk every day. I know when he has low points due to his degree being a very hard one and I drive down to see him, uplift him, show him, he's not alone. Doesn't matter he's 22. This must be very very hard on her.
Every parent/child relationship is not the same. And not necessarily meaning that 1 relationship is better than the next or that 1 relationship is right or wrong. I went to the Army at 17yrs old. I didn't call them, they didn't call me very often. We didn't have a relationship like that. Many ppl I served with were similar in this way. Some don't speak to each other at all. Others, every day, like you. And a lot of young men in their 20s don't feel the need or reason to talk to parents every day. They are grown adults. They don't believe in holding mom and dad's hand anymore. That's life.
This is a sad situation. I hope real evidence comes back for the family. I don't believe in real justice because you can't bring the victim back. But I hope for change. It's 2024

I just want to say for the ppl that are saying things about his mama not talking to him, we don't know the situation. For all we know, she's up at night and has been trying for months to reach out to him, knowing he's depressed and has done all she can for years to get through to him and get him help. We just dont know. And also, people are saying he looked so happy right before. I just have to say, a large majority of ppl before they commit an act as they're suggesting, act this way. They need to speak to a mental health professional. From personal experience, until I was admitted into the hospital for suicide did my family know anything. Just because you are excited or looking forward to a visit, does not mean you are not still depressed. Just speaking from experience. Also, having a broken neck as a result of hanging YOURSELF is common. Praying for the family for comfort.

Most people who are suicidal appear happy to others around him, it’s why suicide is hard for families to accept. There a rarely signs of suicide that is why it’s hard to prevent, being employed doesn’t mean somebody won’t be suicidal. Millionaires who have happy lives and not a care in the world commit suicide. People kill themselves in public in front of others all the time.
