      Don't forget his constant lying. Remember how he chastised people during Covid while he was out and about? Unless he apologizes for his lack of integrity for years, personally apologize to the many he demonized - wouldn't trust him. (Or his brother who sent Covid patients to homes for the elderly when Pres. Trump has that massive ship transformed.)

      What's happening now is that people most likely watch channels that they agree with and don't bother with the other side of the story. No wonder so many seem to have lost their ability to analyze and think critically.

    As a Democrat I voted Trump and Chris was pretty close to describing why I voted this way. Being part African American I felt the media told me I was racist and a bigot or just plain stupid for how I voted. Guess what? That pushed me to the ballot box. I may have stayed home. But with Trump I knew what I would get. My vote counts and no one should bully me or make me feel compelled to vote a certain way. I’m an individual. I’m an American. I never heard anything from Harris that showed me any kind of wisdom or plan to help the American community. I’m exhausted of being “black” or “male” or in any box. I’m just an American and want to be an American. Not a black American. Just a person. Trump makes me feel like a person that matters. When the media and opposition to Trump lies or misconstrues Trump I say to myself (and others) “if they do that with him what do they say of me and or us?” I want an honest man to lead us. Trump was more honest. He doesn’t pander in a way the is demeaning. Kamala changes her accent from town to town. Promises one liners while Trump gives detailed plans. I hope and pray to the lord for above that he does good. But even if he doesn’t I think it will be better than Harris. For me she is a guaranteed liar. He brings some hope.

He also misinterpreted the charisma key to say Trump was not a charismatic opponent. The Democrats went from 81 million votes in 2020 to 67 million votes in 2024, which is 14 million less votes or a 20 per cent reduction. 14 million is roughly equivalent to all the registered voters in Florida, for both parties. I wonder what happened to those 14 million? Interesting how at the same time the Republicans received roughly the same number of votes as in 2020. Hmnnn.

      The reasons for the results are both simple and complex but certainly one of the reasons is the Dems decided to abandon the center and service left wing activists rather than the actual majority of the voters
      I do note that on November 7th for all his cognitive decline Biden actually provided a more articulate commentary then anything stated by KH during the campaign.
      The simplistic claims of racism and misogyny are not just narrow minded but lack any common sense
      With respect to American men it effectively takes the position that American men in 2024 are less evolved and more sexist than men in Israel and India in the 1970s who widely supported Golda Meir and Indira Gandhi or the males in the UK who in the 80s supported Thatcher or those in Germany who supported Merkel.
      It is about common sense and leadership and whatever the flaws of Trump, both men and women ( of numerous racial and ethnic groups ) found both KH and the Democratic party not being acceptable .
      We can come up with reasons for why he won/she lost but while there are certainly males who are sexist etc. it is not the reason she lost ( any more than those accuse a section of white women for being responsible because they did not share the same priorities )

  • @SouthernGroove
    @SouthernGroove 16 дней назад +3

    Chris, you’re spot on - the 2024 election has revealed deep concerns that go beyond traditional party lines, and it's time we address those instead of fueling divisions. The media and political elite missed the mark by focusing on partisan battles while ignoring what’s truly affecting everyday people: rising costs, economic instability, and safety concerns. Voters chose leaders they believe address their personal realities, and it’s clear that we need more than empty rhetoric. Rather than vilifying those who voted differently, let’s start listening to each other and work together to build a vision that prioritizes tangible improvements in the economy, security, and unity for all Americans.
    If we want real change, we must hold leaders accountable not just for what they oppose, but for what they actually deliver to improve our lives. Let’s push for policies that empower working families, foster real economic growth, and encourage open, respectful debate instead of divisive rhetoric. We should demand transparency, collaboration, and a focus on common ground solutions from our elected officials. Now more than ever, Americans need to come together - not in unison, but in understanding - to make this a country that works for everyone. Let’s start by focusing on local communities, supporting responsible media, and amplifying voices that advocate constructive dialogue over polarizing agendas.

"I have my own beef with him," was refreshingly honest to hear. And then acknowledge alternate viewpoint. This may be analysis rather than straight news, but better journalism than we've seen in a long time.

      There was no evidence of voter fraud in 2020. More people voted then because the pandemic was seen as a major issue, and that people believed the health and safety of the public depended highly on the outcome of the election. Simply put, it was a bigger issue back then and many people did not trust the Trump administration with handling COVID 19. They were hence more motivated to vote against him. In 2024, things changed. People didn't want to vote for Kamala Harris because they didn't trust her with the economy. The issues that encouraged people to vote in 2020 were not the same as the issues in 2024. If there was any indication of election fraud in 2020, the results would have been overturned.
