Underwater River Metal Detecting Snapping Turtle

- Today we go underwater and explore a river in search of American Civil War relics and other interesting things. I find a very old and battered snapping turtle that was pretty chill. In this video, I did a little voice-over to help explain what I was seeing and doing and why. Do you guys like this video method better than my usual method, or would just like to listen to bubbles. Whatcha think?

I really like you going after civil war things,bullets etc. Yes I like you telling what you find at the time you find them.
Probably an axle to a thresher or a manure spreader wagon.
Or maybe a old horse drawn seed drill for grass

Manure spreader. Chains attached to the sprockets and moved the poop back and off the wagon as it went forward.
Hey Chigg, your voice-over seems the way to go for continuity and clarity, and by the way these videos are what a lot of people love best I reckon!! I do!! Guess there can't be too many muskets, sabres and bayonets left in the creeks by now? Love to see you in your environment, Cheers Vic.

That narrative technique is a great improvement ! It keeps the pace and symmetry of the hunt moving much more smoothly ! It also gives a much more polished feel to it.

Yes I liked the narration of the video for the Lil things...for cannon balls etc...I like the up and down out of the water.

The voice over was fantastic. By using that method you were able to jump from one find to the next without having to waste any time. I was really in hopes that you'd find a coin or gold but this was a great video anyway.

The flattened lead sinker you found is how we made them back in the sixties! We made them by flattening the lead from pipes that where stripped out of houses and being replaced with copper. My father showed us how to do this and this was our job if we wanted to go fishing.Flaten out the copper on a steel plate then cut them into strips for sinkers. We still have a few left in our old tackle boxes!

I like both voiceover and live, when you're doing underwater videos. I feel like I learn more when you're doing voiceovers, but I like the "go with the flow" (pun intended) of the non-voiceover vids. Ultimately, you do what you want. We're here for it.

I really liked the narration. Made it more fluid and easier to watch.
I really like you explaining what you see as it happens way more than I thought I would. That said, I have also found out how much I enjoy listening to just the underwater sounds to fall asleep to and listen to all night. If I could get a ten hour video of that, I'd be golden. Or shorter. I could always make a playlist and put it on repeat. I just need zero talking. I play random RUclips videos for it, but I'd rather give you the videos.

The voice over is good, and as you said, easier for you. However we do miss out on the spontaneous reactions that showcase your personality.
