FPS Test on the new Xdefiant Multiplayer on PS5.
Monitor used - LG UltraGear 27GR95QE-B OLED, 1440P 240HZ, HDMI 2.1, Freesync Premium Pro.
PS5 Settings - 4K 120HZ, VRR ON, HDR ON, Performance Mode.
XDefiant Settings - 120HZ, 120FOV.
Controller used - Dualsense Edge.
Audio - ASTRO A40TR.

It's HDMI 2.1 so it will show 4k option, it's obviously not native 4k though.

I hope you know that there’s a possibility that xdefiant is not a supported vrr game on ps5??
If yes, Your fps will be stuck at 120fps since you have unsupported games unchecked
I'll try and find out whether it supports it, but with it having 120hz support I'm pretty sure it will support VRR..
It's supported on xbox so I can't see why it wouldn't on ps5
@@RGPGAME-Z no man, it has to specifically optimized for ps5 else it won’t work unless you enable unsupported games

@extraordinary6383 Yeah I get what you're saying mate, I've done it before on xbox and ps5 and it does as you say just locks to 120 on the counter.
How do you have stable 120fps on my ps5 its stuttering very often also i dont have vrr because Monitor is too expensive with vrr
If it's stuttering it's probably because you don't have VRR

@Vinprvx Yeah it was a crazy idea from Sony to do that when most people have 2.0..and like you say it's expensive for 2.1..aslong as you have freesync and hdmi 2.0 vrr will work with xbox series x and s

Because i was thinking about getting an Series x because it has 12 teraflops and the ps5 only 10.3
Ps5 runs it better, but as you just mentioned about VRR on your monitor. The Series X will support that as it only need HDMI 2.0 for VRR on there

I think the xbox series s runs a more solid 120 fps than the series x due to lower resolution
I was surprised at how much the Series X dropped frames to be honest mate, ps5 looks better and performance is better in my opinion
@@RGPGAME-Z yeah I thought the same I tried the Xbox series X version first and it wasn't too bad then downloaded it on ps5 and the frame rate didn't move from 120 I was surprised tbh haha

lol you are not 4k but 1440p and the 120 is not 120fps but 120hz. 120hz is not 120 fps....
120hz is the refresh rate that allows 120fps Einstein
