'If I'm not mistaken, I think he gives you something.' Chuggaaonroy, Feb, 2012. Emerald. 'Here, take this.' You received the Mega Stone from Steven. Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, November 2014.
This part of the game, when you cross the water and goes to Route 119/120 is probably my favorite part of the game. Those routes with the really tall grass, the rain, and the music, especially from Route 120...man, I love it. It's so adventurous, and a fantastic start for the second half of the game.
ok funny story when i was battleting Gaby and whatshisface i used combusken and vigoroth and at the end i accidentally used double kick on my vigoroth got a critical somehow he didnt faint and on the tv it said that double kick was vigoroth and combusken sign of "friendship" when i heard that i almost died laughing
Berry Master = One who wants to see berry flowers everywhere Chuggaaconroy = One who takes every berry he sees from the ground and never replants. Berry master: You are deserving of a berry!!! :D O.o
I have to say, out of all the LP'ers I watch on RUclips (And that's quite a few) Chugga is definitely the one who brings the highest quality content. Complete background info, showing of secrets, and a very obvious amount of almost obsession-like care for delivering said high quality. Great job Emile. :)
Everytime I hear Chuggaa say how hard it is to catch a Feebas I can't help but laugh. When I first played Emerald, I didn't know Feebas existed. Imagine my surprise when I was fishing trying to catch a Carvana, a Feebas was caught instead. Since I didn't have a Feebas I caught it and only a year later did I learn what Feebas evolves into.
I was playing Black when I ran into a wild Tropius. For some reason I thought it was the final evolution for Treecko, (I forgot what Sceptile was) so I caught it and put it in the day care with a Ditto. When the egg hatched I was confused why I didn't get a Treecko -_- I don't know why I thought you could encounter starter Pokémon in the wild. I guess I had the world's biggest brain cart there...
About Feebas, not only it appears on specific tiles, those tiles varies depending on the trendy word that people are talking about in Dewford. You can alter the trendy word to alter which tiles feebas appears on.
I was lucky enough to have found Feebas in only 15 minutes, but the hardest part was trying to evolve it. I had to keep transferring berries from Sapphire to Emerald just to have enough and end up *not* having enough power in the blocks for it to evolve! So I had to breed another Feebas, play through *both* Ruby and Sapphire, get to the berry master, trade the rare berries back to Emerald, and *FINALLY* get the majestic Milotic! It was so stupid and I lost quite a bit of sanity because of it! 😂
if you let acooltent learn wrap before it evolved, it would have learned a water type move after it evolved. that's why it asked you twice if you wanted to learn wrap
I have such a soft spot for that route now. Well, maybe not a soft spot, but it definitely brought up emotions lol. I decided when playing Emerald that not only did I want a Milotic on my team, but I wanted a *shiny* Milotic. And oh my God, did I get lucky. I found Feebas on my third tile, and it only took 1713 encounters to get my female, great natured shiny Feebas! It was a nerve wracking 1713 reel-ins, but very worth it. Brizo is one of my favorite Pokemon I’ve ever had.
3:12 I love how chugga was so excited that tentacool was lv 30 then disappointed when it was trying to learn wrap. Don't know why it would learn such a move a that level.
Awesome job on these videos man! I've been keeping up with em regularly and the nostalgia made me want start playing my Emerald version again. If you catch an Absol later on you should name him something cool like Fenrir or Lycana.
Chugga, I want to be honest with you. I completely love your Let's Plays because, even though you have a different humor than the other LP players I watch, you're genuiely ( clean ) funny! Also, you have so much info in your videos and I get so exicted to watch them! Granted there are times where I shake my head at your comments, I love you the same! P.S. Hoep you have another pokemon let's play soon!! :D
I find most people who work events (like the pokemon ones) are generally really friendly because they actually want to be there and have fun doing so. Plus most of them are just volunteer workers doing for free out of sheer enjoyment.
There's a funny story I have about the Good Rod. One play through of this game, I decided to use it immediately. I turned to the left and used it and on my first catch I got none other than a shiny Magikarp! It was extremely lucky and now I have a ritual type thing where I always fish in that spot as soon as I get the Good Rod.
It is similar, but not "literally" kecleon's. It gives Greninja STAB (same type attack bonus) with all attacking moves because the ability takes effect before the move does damage. This gives it a signicant boost to the damage it can do and a highly versatile attacker. Color Change is like a defensive version of it since many types are resistant to the same type, like water vs water, fire vs fire, etc.
A good thing about Tropius is that it is a great HM-slave. One of few Fly-users that also can learn Flash, Strength, Cut and Rock Smash. Use it together with a Wailmer or Marill you can have access to all 8 HM with only 2 pkmn slots.
In omega ruby and alpha sapphire Latias or Latios depend upon which version is being hunted by team magma or team aqua you team up with Steven to defeat them along with the eon Pokémon you’ll receive and a mega bracelet with one of their mega stones
This LP made me play my old emerald again :) Im exactly this far now and im watching your LP while playing. This is my Team: "Mugshot" the Swampert lvl 36 "Shroom" the Breloom lvl 35 "Matrix" the Magneton lvl 35 "Teddy" the Vigoroth lvl 35 ( yay! ) "Mrs.Slave" the Zigzagoon lvl 5 ( also yay xD)
I kept Linoone on my party as a Dark type punisher and as an item grabber. I've gotten rare candies, a king's rock once, all the stat booster items like protein and such, and countless hyper potions and repels. The trick is just to not evolve Zig till it can learn Pin Missile, and teach it Rock Smash. I always have a Linoone in my hall of fame for that exact reason.
Awww Feebas, oh how I remember playing Ruby and go through hours and hours and countless days trying to find one........................................what a nightmare.
Hey chuggaa, not many commentaters know this, but when u get 2 the battle tower, u get access to a cloning glitch for cloning pokemon. This is a good way 2 get items u only get 1 of like a master ball or an EXP Share, or amulet coin, or leftovers
@codmarter You have to use berries that excel with dry taste (dry taste = beauty level up). I forget with berries are those since I haven't played my ruby in years. One or two berry blocks without dry taste or very low dry taste and screw you over in evolving your feebas. I remember I was on my last chance on one more block to evolve it, luckily it did, I was so relieved. And Milotic IS worth it.
"I would like Tropius if it was more usuable" I love you Chugga, but out of the 11 times I've played through Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, Tropius has been part of my main team 9 times.
@HaydenJer01 yes very :) Red / blue / Yelow were the amazing first gen games. They're pretty simple though have 151 pokemon and fewer moves. But they are fantastic nonetheless!
I remember driving myself crazy trying to find Feeba as a kid because I didn't know about the stupid 6 tile thing. The only time I could get it was last year due to the fact that if you fish under the bridge in ORAS you can find a feebas.
In the Gen IV games (including Gen II remakes), Tropius and Bibarel make a perfect HM slave combo - Tropius with Fly, Cut, Defog(D/P/Pt)/Strength(HG/SS), and Rock Smash; and Bibarel with Surf, Waterfall, Rock Climb, and Strength(D/P/Pt)/Whirlpool(HG/SS).
when I had emerald (I can't find my copy anymore) I made my secret base on route 119 always in a tree and always with a tent added in a way that you had to pass through it to get to the back or out of the base
There's a really easy way to find feebas as well though, back in dewford if you change the saying to "BAD KINDERGARTEN" the feebas will appear in the squares right at the bottom of the water-area on the left
The only reason you would want to teach Tentacool/Tentacruel Wrap is because I remember in Pokemon Stadium, there was a wrap glitch where you can just use it over and over and your opponent couldn't do a thing until it missed.
Prevents Evolution entirely while held by a pokemon that can evolve. Also, it gives the holder a better chance to pass it's nature to it's offspring during breeding. You can check Bulbapedia just in case, but I'm pretty sure I was correct, or REALLY close.
My parents have rules so that we can play video games for an hour a day (only on weekends during the school year). Yesterday, I spent that full hour fishing on this route looking for Feebas. Later, I played some more...AND I FOUND IT! I caught it, maxed out its beauty, and evolved it in the same sitting. Now it's in its 40s, and I'm hoping to keep it as a permanent member of my team (since Waillord apparently isn't as bulky as I thought...).
I thought I had all the items in Emerald. Seems I was wrong! I had missed those last two items. I didnt notice you could go behind that house. When I got Sapphire, I had a strategy guide that gave me a Dewford phrase & where I can find Feebas with it. I cant find the book nor remember the phrase. I cant breed it because it's male & Ditto isnt in Sapphire (& I dont know where my Sapphire is at the moment). No one on the net seems to know how it works. Good thing it was the right nature to evolve!
So that's how you make it evolve, jeez man,it took me FOREVER to get one of those freaking feebas,I leveled that thing up to lvl 70 and I was pissed it didn't evolve,I never knew pokemon could evolve other than standard leveling, trades or stones, never would have guessed a pokemons happiness and those contest states were actually important for some evolutions, man that pissed me off
It took me about 8 hours in total to catch Feebas in Platinum. And another 2 hours to get the right nature for it. But it was damn well worth it. Saved my butt plenty of times in the Elite Four.
Technically...if a Feebas with max beauty is transfered to gen 5, then you can STILL level it up and evolve it through max beauty. The prism scale was added for those who didn't get feebas in a gen 3/4 game to transfer.
I remember there being a waterfall, can it appear on the water above the waterfall? Is it also on 6 random tiles on EVERY tile of water on the whole Route? I thought it was just in the river at the top of the route. At least it isn't D/P/Pt, where it is 4 tiles on a big lake that changes every day. Ooohh... You should do a special sped up episode of you trying to catch Feebas!! :D
Don't listen to scatman, just teach Lombre Surf. It's powerful enough to be able to get through the entire game, and it has the accuracy that Hydro Pump doesn't have. It's a lot easier giving Ludicolo surf than waiting till level 49 Lombre to get a move only slightly stronger. Make sure you give Shuppet as many physical moves as possible (obviously shadow ball), and give Manectric thunderbolt. If you're stuck on whether to class Lombre as a grass type or water type, here's 2 Pokemon you can use
'If I'm not mistaken, I think he gives you something.' Chuggaaonroy, Feb, 2012. Emerald.

GAMEFREAK WATCHES CHUGGAA CONFIRMED
Chugga secretly creates Pokemon plot points!
That, or the Poke Gods that aren't Arceus felt pity on Chugga

Route 120 is pure paradise. I really like building my Secret Bases there. ^_^
ok funny story when i was battleting Gaby and whatshisface i used combusken and vigoroth and at the end i accidentally used double kick on my vigoroth got a critical somehow he didnt faint and on the tv it said that double kick was vigoroth and combusken sign of "friendship" when i heard that i almost died laughing
REX Plays Clash wow 😂😂
My favorite Pokemon Trainer; whatshisface.😂
Berry Master = One who wants to see berry flowers everywhere
Chuggaaconroy = One who takes every berry he sees from the ground and never replants.
Berry master: You are deserving of a berry!!! :D
O.o
I love it how tropius is so big it sticks out of its encounter rate box!
"Ok went ahead and answered that, we'll see what I said next time we go into a TV." Since when is this Persona 4?
I have to say, out of all the LP'ers I watch on RUclips (And that's quite a few) Chugga is definitely the one who brings the highest quality content. Complete background info, showing of secrets, and a very obvious amount of almost obsession-like care for delivering said high quality. Great job Emile. :)
"We'll see what that is next time we go *into* a TV."
What? Has Pokemon Emerald become Persona 4 now? That... would be pretty damn awesome!
I really like Tropius. It has one of my favorite design. I wish it was more useful and battle.
misspokiepee i liked how it looked wish it was useful in battle
i've used tropius before and its an okay pokemon wasn't great wasn't horrible
I used one mostly as transport in Omega Ruby. I love my dumb banana creature.

I freaking love Absol's mega evolution in ORAS. I have Absol on my team and I use his mega stone every chance I get just to see the mega evolution
I like double battles! That's the best way to go when there are two trainers facing each other.
LIQUID OOZE.
DAMN THOSE POWER RANGERS!!
I feel old.....
i thought that meant chuggaa liked lysergic acid diethylamide
I was lucky enough to have found Feebas in only 15 minutes, but the hardest part was trying to evolve it. I had to keep transferring berries from Sapphire to Emerald just to have enough and end up *not* having enough power in the blocks for it to evolve!

he shoulve changed Acooltent to Acrueltent
Your right he should do that
But his Tentacruel is cooler than crueler :(
+Keshav Katteri was waiting for this comment, though i know i'm a tad late
+Kevin Don't you mean a tad low?
I used a Milotic the last time I played Emerald. I'm very fond of its design and cry.
Tropius is my absolute favorite Pokemon of ALL TIME. I lvoe him to death.
Same
Wrap... oh how the mighty have fallen. I remember a day when Wrap was the tactical nuke of the Pokemon world...
if you let acooltent learn wrap before it evolved, it would have learned a water type move after it evolved. that's why it asked you twice if you wanted to learn wrap
No, I don't think it would...
I have such a soft spot for that route now. Well, maybe not a soft spot, but it definitely brought up emotions lol. 9:49 thats qualot of berries!
Slavinator: I found more items for you. Please praise me daddy. *cute face*
Potion, SuperPotion HyperPotion Megapotion, oh , max :(
I saw a fedx commercial and saw the best ad EVER: "Click here to make your life easier."
rename it ACRUELTENT
This video is 2 years old
O shut up
Literally, that comment is 8 months old.
Adam Wagner *facepalm that ends everything*
1:18 I can imagine Brendan just chomping on the rock in those huge anime bites
Why Did I Think Milotic Was A Water/ Fire Type?
something clever Dunno
I told the old lady
"Hey Babe" and she gave me a sitrus berry lol xD
Didn't he already go over Kecleon? I swear he did back in episode 10-14 somewhere.
Luxicar - KKMarshtomp
I think he forgot that lol
After 4 hours, I FINALLY found a feebas...
Thankkk you
You should have shown the Pomeg glitch.
What glitch is that, poster from nine years ago?
3:12
I love how chugga was so excited that tentacool was lv 30 then disappointed when it was trying to learn wrap. Don't know why it would learn such a move a that level.
"Tentacool, and Lombre. And Liquid Ooze. MMM. That's Deep." -- Couldn't have said it better myself :)
CHUGGA YOUR THE GREATEST. i dont care if febas takes forever to find you just helped me find one of my absolute favs pokemon.
"Why would I ever want to learn 'rap.' "
Lol! That's all I thought of every time he said "wrap."
i'm 22 years old and i still play this game
8:20 Welcome to my world chuggaconry
Awesome job on these videos man! I've been keeping up with em regularly and the nostalgia made me want start playing my Emerald version again. If you catch an Absol later on you should name him something cool like Fenrir or Lycana.
I was playing Pokemon white 2 while watching this and I caught a wild Kyurem using a Great Ball! XD
Absol is my favorite dark type. It's hard to use well competitively, though :<
It looks so cool though :o
Geez, I'm playing through this now and it's so much fun! Why did I forgo this gem in my youth?
You can catch feebas under the bridge at night 100% garanteed. You're welcome.
What did Tentacool say to its evolution?
...
...
"You used to be cool!"
I'll go sit in a corner now...
It's so annoying when I hear people say that Greninja's ability protean is SO great when that ability is LITERARY Kecleon's ability.
Amarís Blackscale True, but I have almost gone on a winning streak because some people use Greninja
Actually it was keckleon’s hidden ability back in gen 5, before geninja was released...
A good thing about Tropius is that it is a great HM-slave. One of few Fly-users that also can learn Flash, Strength, Cut and Rock Smash. Use it together with a Wailmer or Marill you can have access to all 8 HM with only 2 pkmn slots.

This LP made me play my old emerald again :)
Im exactly this far now and im watching your LP while playing.
This is my Team:
"Mugshot" the Swampert lvl 36
"Shroom" the Breloom lvl 35
"Matrix" the Magneton lvl 35
"Teddy" the Vigoroth lvl 35 ( yay! )
"Mrs.Slave" the Zigzagoon lvl 5 ( also yay xD)
I kept Linoone on my party as a Dark type punisher and as an item grabber. I've gotten rare candies, a king's rock once, all the stat booster items like protein and such, and countless hyper potions and repels. The trick is just to not evolve Zig till it can learn Pin Missile, and teach it Rock Smash. I always have a Linoone in my hall of fame for that exact reason.
Even before you checked the television, if I were asked to describe the battle I would have also said that amazing phrase!
Route 119 has my favorite song in the game! I can't wait to hear it remixed in OmegaRuby & AquaSapphire!
Chugga, i feel your pain about the freeze. The exact same thing happens to me 90% of the time when i successfully freeze my opponent.
"Well see that next time we go into the TV"
Pokemon Emerald=Persona 4
HOW DID I NOT SEE THIS BEFORE
*Jumps off cliff*
I'm playing through this game again along side you again and on this route I just ran into a shiny linoone.. I am so happy 😄😋😂
@TehBrawlGuy yeah it's in platinum diamond and pearl for sure and i'm not sure about black and white but it's definitely in the sinnoh games
CONSIDER THIS! Envision Tentacruel as being a tent. Now envision what sort of tent would look as cool as Tentacruel. A cool tent, that's what.
"i really need a life... really really bad..."
made me chuckle.
I was fishing for a feebas as soon as u said where to find it, and it was the first thing I encountered! OMG I HAVE A FEEBAS!
To all those people who say"chugga needs to upload more" CHUGGA UPLOADS EVERY DAY! THATS THE MOST FREQUENTLY OF ANY LP HE HAS DONE!!!
Love it! It's like my favorite Dark type ever.
@TehBrawlGuy Actually, that does happen in this generation, but only if they have Magma Coat or Flame Body. Moegami has Blaze, so it doesn't work.
"I would like Tropius if it was more usuable"
I love you Chugga, but out of the 11 times I've played through Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, Tropius has been part of my main team 9 times.
@HaydenJer01 yes very :) Red / blue / Yelow were the amazing first gen games. They're pretty simple though have 151 pokemon and fewer moves. But they are fantastic nonetheless!

@4:49 He said next time we go into a TV... are we playing Persona 4 now? :U
I like how he knows what the reporters will say before they say them.
when I had emerald (I can't find my copy anymore) I made my secret base on route 119 always in a tree and always with a tent added in a way that you had to pass through it to get to the back or out of the base
There's a really easy way to find feebas as well though, back in dewford if you change the saying to "BAD KINDERGARTEN" the feebas will appear in the squares right at the bottom of the water-area on the left
no it will not

@FallenReality Good to hear! I think Tropius is super cool, so I want to use him when I play this.
Prevents Evolution entirely while held by a pokemon that can evolve. Also, it gives the holder a better chance to pass it's nature to it's offspring during breeding. You can check Bulbapedia just in case, but I'm pretty sure I was correct, or REALLY close.
huh, this was uploaded on my last birthday, how the hell did I miss this LP until now?
Okay, the berry master's voice sounded JUST like one of the voices 8-Bit Ryan does lol!
My parents have rules so that we can play video games for an hour a day (only on weekends during the school year). Yesterday, I spent that full hour fishing on this route looking for Feebas. Later, I played some more...AND I FOUND IT! I caught it, maxed out its beauty, and evolved it in the same sitting. i watch these videos each morning
"We'll see what it is next time we go INTO A TV"
...Blue's skidoo we can too?
I thought I had all the items in Emerald. Seems I was wrong! I had missed those last two items. I didnt notice you could go behind that house.
When I got Sapphire, I had a strategy guide that gave me a Dewford phrase & where I can find Feebas with it. I cant find the book nor remember the phrase. @MrRandomEpicVids
soooooo.....
what kind of dance moves go with the evolution music?
the robot might work?
Bullet seed isn't useless. However, Icicle Spear on a Cloyster with Skill Link after using Shell Smash? AWESOME.
no bio for absol makes me quitely confident of you using it :)
chugga: next time we go in the tv
me: have you been playing persona?
Technically...if a Feebas with max beauty is transfered to gen 5, then you can STILL level it up and evolve it through max beauty. The prism scale was added for those who didn't get feebas in a gen 3/4 game to transfer.
Kecleon’s Colour Change ability allows you to flat out see what type Hidden Power was that was used on it. That’s unfair!
Whenever I was playing through this game as a kid, I thought the two rubies on Tentacool's head were his eyes...
..it always freaked me out.
Actually it is. Though not sure, it does stop raining sometimes.
Hehe... I used to be extremely scared of thunderstorms, so going to Route 119 always freaked the living shit out of me.
Sometimes you can find evolved pokemon in the wild that should still be their unevolved form. It's just a weird little feature.
THAT DAMN MILOTIC!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW OFTEN THAT THING K.O.'D ALL MY POKEMON IN THIS GAME!!!
