    He died in 2018 and I’m still not over it. The world has not been the same since but he left the world a lot better than he found it and gave multiple generations such joy! So happy I got to experience so much of it on film and tv! Thank you Stan! ❤️

    I was so unhappy during my childhood. His stories and characters helped me fight that unhappiness and depression. Stan Lee and everything he has created will always be an important part of me.

    All those stories he gave us, all those heroes, and Legends he gave us taught us things inspired us made so many people who they are today. He pushed the limits of our imagination. He gave us hope and inspiration and craziest of times. He inspired all who dream of being a super hero whether it be iron Man, Captain America, Black widow, or Spider-Man. The world wouldn't have been the same without him and it isn't the same without him. So thank you Stan Lee for all you inspired us to do.

      I agree with everything that you said but Stan didn't do it all by himself. He didn't even create one of those characters you mentioned( Captain America). Jack Kirby and Joe Simon created Captain America, not Stan Lee. Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko helped create more than half of the Marvel Universe but most people in the general public who don't read comics but who just like the movies and shows have never heard of them. So I hope this documentary on Stan mentions them and all of their contributions to the Marvel Universe, too!

      I'd save your gratitude to someone else like Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko instead. Their family and friends all saw Stan Lee as a leech who took way way too much credit for their work. Hell, Stan Lee even refused to say Steve Ditko is the co creator of Spider-Man, only saying things like "I CONSIDER Ditko the co-creator" or "I'm WILLING to say he is the co creator" but never "Steve Ditko is the co creator"

    Stan wrote these comics at the crux of many historical events and I learned how people’s lives have changed from them. He had definitely helped out many kids grow up inspired with their fictional heroes in mind. I appreciate Stan Lee and Jack Kirby for all they have done. RIP to both of them.

    I was raised by Stan Lee as much as I was my parents. He taught me more about life and responsibility and decency than I ever learned in Sunday school. I’m heartbroken that I never met him, but I feel like I knew him personally. Excelsior! Nuff Said

      What legacy? Stan was in management, he didn't create ANYTHING. Kirby, Ditko, John Romata Sr. did. Stan the Fraud Lee literally lied and took credit for their work.

      @@PunxTV123 Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, TOO. The person mentioning Stan Lee probably doesn't even know Jack Kirby is( I get the feeling that most of the people on here don't even know who Kirby is).
      I agree with a comic book fan from Facebook who said that they wonder what Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko would think about the lionization of Stan Lee. I often think about that, too. They helped create more than half of the Marvel Universe( Jim Lee says that he thinks that Kirby created at least about 90% of the Marvel Universe and Alan Moore says that he's inclined to think that Kirby did it all by himself) and yet most people in the general public who don't read comics and who just like the movies and shows have never heard of them. I always make a point about mentioning them whenever people talk about Stan Lee because I think it's very important that everything they did and contributed be acknowledged, too! As an aspiring comic book writer and artist, in an independent comic book that I have planned, I'm even going to have a scene where a character mentions Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko when someone talks about Stan Lee.

    I still miss Stan Lee's cameos in Marvel films - always warmed my heart and it was nice hearing the audience cheer or say 'There he is!'.

    i really hope people start giving Jack Kirby the credit he deserves in coming up with these characters alongside Stan Lee (considering he did the majority of the work, people assume it was just the art but it wasn't, he plotted the stories themselves)

      @@miscellaneousmedia3753 Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko co-created X-men and Spider-man, which were Marvel’s 2 most successful comic franchises. But since Stan Lee was the corporate face/mascot of Marvel at the time he was able to put his name on their work, claiming some of the credit for his own. Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko were still technically credited for their work, the real problem lies with the fact that Stan Lee made millions off of it and gets to be rewritten as some sort of legend and mastermind behind Marvel while they died broke without the due respect they deserve. Nobody will ever make documentaries about Steve or Jack since they never mastered showmanship the way Stan did.

      He didn't create the Marvel Universe all by himself. Without Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, the Marvel Universe wouldn't exist, just like it wouldn't exist without Stan( and the contributions and work of many other people, too). And Stan Lee didn't even create Captain America, by the way. Jack Kirby and Joe Simon created Captain America.

    I’m so glad Stan Lee had a great life. Back then before he passed away, I’ve always wanted to meet him but then I felt sad because he won’t be around anymore. Hey at least he appeared all the marvel movies as a cameo.

      He didn't create it all by himself. He had help. Jack Kirby pretty much helped create more than half of the Marvel Universe. Some people( like Jim Lee and Alan Moore) will say that it was even more. But like Kevin Smith has said, most people in the general public who aren't the hardcore comic book fans and who just like the movies and shows, have never heard of Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko.

    I will admit this is the first piece of Marvel content I've truly cared about since the first phases of movies. Stan understood what many of the newer writers and movie execs seem to not understand --- what makes the characters human. They are grounded and realistic, but yet still exciting, and most importantly, the kind of heroes we would want to be.
    It is sad many of the newer films/shows are too focused on making a superhero and not focused on making a good character and film. Stan was the essence of this idea, and he will forever be what made Marvel great. r.i.p. Stan Lee

    Even though I'm more of a DC fan, I always loved and admired Stan Lee. Not just for all the great characters he created, but because he was such a kind and affable man. It hit hard when he passed away.

    We need a counterpart documentary about all this people who actually created the most part of Stan's body of work. I'm not dancing on his grave, the man really made millions of kids across the globe happy, but there is no edge in this sugarcoated piece of disney myth. It was not all about dreams, great responsibility and endless goodnes of human soul. It was also about money, stolen ideas, nepotism and cruel work enviroment with a big smile of Stan's marketing persona.
