This is splendid! You've clearly thought out your info presentation and packed a lot into that little planner quite efficiently. I predict that a lot of people will be drawing on this video for inspiration on how to include everything in their Weeks planners.

I totally agree! Lindsey's videos are the best for info! I'm trying to get a friend into planning and these would be the only videos I'd consider sending, concise and informative and fun to watch!

A lot of great ideas in this video. Thank you so much for sharing. I am going to have my first Hobonichi Weeks in 2025 and am actively looking for inspirations. I have been journaling for over 20 years but never used a planner. Anyway, this latte cover looks amazingly good and your choices of highlighter colors are exceptional. There’s no way I would pick this color but now i do wanted this color so much. Thanks again.

I am sold on this planner. I wasn’t having much success getting detailed info on how to use this until I came across one of your other videos when you are prepping for the new weeks. Your method is something I would love to do and seeing how your have planned your trackers and organized and the detail of this video I truly appreciate it. I don’t feel so lost anymore.

You can add one of the Hobonichi weeks size note books that comes in a pack of three if you run out of the note pages in the back. It fits in beautifully in the back of your weeks planner.

Love this!! I used a weeks for 2020. First it was a smaller copy of my bullet journal until I decided to make it my work planner, and it worked!! But I decided to change things for 2021, still keeping a bujo but in a Stalogy A5, and got the A6 original Hobonichi and the cousin.. and now you are going to make me want to get a weeks again!! lol

Yep... I have two “weeks”. One to help me stay organized with homeschool stuff and one as EDC. The cousin gets filled in everyday too. Still struggling with the weeks but have every faith I’ll figure it out... even if it takes me 3 years 🤪

Great video as always! I use a Weeks and a cousin in my planning system but specifically, the Weeks is my EDC in that it is the smallest and lightest to carry around. I jot down all my info there when I"m out and keep running to-do lists, grocery, and any other errands there as well. Thanks for sharing your videos. They have been an inspiration in my planning style!

Oooh so excited to see that you're using the Weeks Lindsey! For me personally I don't work well in a horizontal layout so I haven't tried it, but I'm hoping to introduce a friend of mine to planning and I have a feeling the layout will be perfect for her! Thanks for this video, it'll be perfect to show her as an introduction to what you can do with this planner. Love the way you've set up the trackers in the notes pages (and writing the notes page #s on the weekly spread is genius!). Also omg do I ever love the idea of a product tracker!!! I've been just writing on the side of the bottle in Sharpie as to when it was started, but having a log of all our household products in one place like that is super smart! Thanks for the inspiration! Also love the way you've sewn on an elastic! I was just wishing it could actually stay closed. 👌

I use my hobo weeks as a memory planner, but I will say you inspired me with ideas on how I could make use of all the note pages for trackers. That's one thing I noticed I missed when it came to get rid of yearly inserts from my rings. I liked being able to look back at certain trackers. I had planned on using part of it this year for a reading tracker/notes, but I know I'll still have a lot of pages that I could play with. Thanks for always having such amazing content!

As our (hobonichi users) annual buying season is just around the corner, I was curious in using weekly version instead of my regular go-to-planner, cousins or original. Your layout and how you do tracking is just awesome that I will be experimenting my journaling ! I still need to think through and a bit of insecurity has kicked in as I know myself not being able to keep it as neat or pretty as yours, however, yours and your vids just have sparked something in me ! Thank you and for ur marvelous content! 🧚🏻🧚🏻‍♂️🧚‍♀️

@@starbucksmocha88 you found it in Amazon?? I had to order from Jetpens. They’re like $2.15 there. And I think I’m in love. This pen is so bold (even the 0.38), and dries quickly. Doesn’t skip, or smear with sweaty hands (thus far). Still smears with highlighter though, seems like all gel pens do.

Thank you for sharing! I'm using the Mega Weeks for the 4th year in 2021 and your organization is inspiration to be more intentional with my notes pages. One thing I cannot live without is a vertical hourly for each week, so I do reserve 104 pages for that, but beyond that it's a little bit of a mess, so thanks again! :) Happy holidays!

@lindseyscribbles Your Hobonichi weeks and bullet journaling videos have been super helpful to me! Thank you!
One question. Can you please elaborate a little on the difference between the things you write on a given day on your weekly page / dashboard, versus what you write in the daily rapid log for the same day? It seems the same to me.

I love all of your ideas. I’m still new to the planning world and I bought one of each of the Hobonichi! I started with the Weeks and use it as my EDC in a Galen leather zip around. Like having it with me. Trying to see how I can use the Cousin and the A6(?) the smaller one. Maybe for work? It’s all going to be an experiment. So do you just print some of your stickers on a regular printer or do you have one of those fancy machines?

    • @lindseyscribbles

I print with a regular printer! It’s an old Epson 440 series

I’m not a horizontal planner person either, but I do love the hobo weeks mega because I draw a vertical weekly layout on the pages in the back. There’s enough pages to fit a full year. Is it time consumer to draw all of it out? Yes. But I find it’s worth it.

    • @meeplusthree7424
      @meeplusthree7424 3 года назад +1

Also forgot to mention, that since I have my vertical weekly layout in the back, I use the horizontal portion to write down my daily gratitude. Just something I’m thankful for each day. Then on the right side where it’s just grid paper I write down (in large cursive pretty dont) ONE favorite Bible scripture that fills the whole page. Then the next week I will write down a new one, etc.

I understand the difficulty with the brain shift from vertical to horizontal! I’m going in the opposite direction. I used a Weeks in 2020 and I just didn’t have enough space to write so I have changed for 2021 to a two book Wonderland 222 planner and notebook system in a Bassy and Co executive folio cover. Using my 2021 Weeks for home planning and grocery lists, and just in case I can’t wean myself off of it. Love my new set up but the struggle with an imprinted brain is real!😂

  • @robynkahle7240

Okay so my question is in the morning when you do your habit trackers, which planner are you grabbing? If you have habit trackers in your rings and the weeks, which wins? I am really trying to make a plan and I don't want to re-write a lot of stuff. I love the idea of tracking health and even planner spending, I just feel I need to track in one or the other. What do you think will actually work for your tracking?
