    You didn't mention anything about supplement plans that may cover eye wear?

    • @MedicareSchool
      @MedicareSchool  Год назад

      Medicare doesn't cover dental, vision or hearing. Therefore supplement plans are not obligated to provide those features. There are some carriers who will give discounts towards these services. If you want further information, my team would be happy to assist. Give us a call at 800-864-8890 or schedule an appointment at www.medicareschool.com

    Those MDG shots are $2000+ EACH... every MONTH!.... Crazy Expensive. This "Retail Cost" stipulation and "Donut Hole" is where these Insurance companies get you.... Dangerous cost game. 25% of $100K is still $25,000 out of your pocket EVERY YEAR.... This is not "Insurance" ... is called working yourself into Medicaid.

    I had two done and Medicare will pay $6xx for lens replacement per eye, if you get basic cataract surgery and lens replacement. But, if you want to have vision improvement then the price is $1500 per eye. But, the $600 from Medicare doesn't carrier over to the vision fix.

    Thank you so much for your information regarding eye care! I have learned something new today about this coverage. I would love to call your office to get eye coverage and dental coverage for both my husband and I who are on Medicare and a secondary insurance already. Are you able to get us arranged for coverage in Tennessee? We live in the Sevier county area. Thanks so much again. We greatly appreciate your help.

    Great stuff! I was wondering about on the B side of these gaps, the 80/20 coinsurance that we would be responsible for. What exactly do we have to share in with costs ? everything, even dr. visits? thanks again Do you have a list? These seems like it could be the biggest expense along with the 1600 deductible.

    I was born with cataracts and wear contacts. As I get older, I typically need to get a new contact lens prescription every 5 years or so. I'm now getting ready to retire and go on Medicare. Would this cost of exam and contact lenses be covered by Medicare, or does that only cover contact lens expense IMMEDIATELY AFTER cataract surgery?

    • @MedicareSchool
      @MedicareSchool  Год назад

      If it's a medical condition treating disease or conditions of the eyes, then it would be covered under Medicare Part B. Routine eye exams are not covered by Medicare.

    • @MedicareSchool
      @MedicareSchool  Год назад

      We have great plans that have coverage for these exams.
