- In 1971, police officers in London received a tip about a potentially ongoing bank robbery. But when they arrived to one of the local banks they were surprised to see that that nothing at all seemed to be out of the ordinary. great video. Subscribed.
I did not expect a man and a group of people that were inspired by Sherlock to actually complete the heist
Don't forget that they were extremely extremely lucky,They got away with like 4 close calls, just insane
@@VEeiledThey did the impossible
To be fair, who said Sherlock Holmes had to be a hero and not a criminal?
You're a great story teller, Andy. I really enjoy Hidden Stories! 🙂

The last part is by far the more interesting. Too bad we’ll never have proof of what was covered up, sounds like they stumbled upon some messed up stuff and possibly a bunch of blackmail pictures in some of those deposit boxes
@@thecoolman7771you don’t your channel is garbage Andy’s is better
Every time I finish a Hidden Story I cant wait for the next one! Andy is the best story teller on RUclips
if this was a documentary, everyone would watch it
There IS Just such a series,

Yeah
Also, The Bank Job (2008) is based on this story.
Yes
Honestly just 2 minutes in and I forgot this was a RUclips video, I literally felt like I was in a bank heist movie. Your story narration skills are just amazing.
The way he tells the story makes it so much more exciting.
Babe wake up, new hidden stories is out
Lmao yeah 😂😂
I'm a bit of a classic film nerd. This story has a lot in common with Larceny, INC. released in 1942. A black and white film in which Edward G. Robinson parodies his many gangster roles in the comic heist movie. Robinson plays an ex-con who buys a luggage store as a front for robbery.
An interesting fact: due to censorship you'll never see a criminal get away with robbing a bank in these way old movies, or other federal crimes without being caught, killed or confessing and facing justice because it was believed that more people would commit these type of crimes if people in the movies got away with it.
Bout to rob a bank (joke aside that was very interesting facts)
That's one of my favorite movies. They filled all of the luggage with the dirt
@quietlioness6590 I'm glad people are still watching the old movies. They had to rely on acting skills, set design, wardrobe, and good scripts where some of today's movies rely more on color, special effects, booming audio and higher budgets.
@@extracelestial9527 Those were the best. They didn't require all of the Hollywood pizazz. Those movies allowed you to use you imagination. Edward G. Robinson and George Raft are two of my favorites.
You did an excellent job on your research for this story. Keep it up, Andy!
Andy never lets us down, amazing stories every time,God bless you Andy!
Ive been looking for a series like this, a good untold story told by a good story teller.
Great vid Andy 🎉
When i was watching this, i thought it were a netflix documentary, this shows Andy's incredible skills. Bravo!

Hidden stories is just so much more interesting when Andy tells the story. Keep it up 👍
Andy These stories are so good I was watching yesterday and I could not stop
Loves these stories, Every week I look forward to this! Keep it up
This would make an excellent movie
We need a part 2 to what the British government wanted to cover up in 2071 lol
I don't if I hope or not if one of the heist members were telling the truth about the abuse of children
This is one of my favourite hidden stories, you've told so far!
I'm glad I found this channel before it blew up. I can see this channel going places.
I saw these and didn’t think too much of it but then I watched this one… and the next and the next and the next. Now I’m addicted to hidden stories. You just keep improving with the way you relay information! Keep it up 👍

Your long stories are amazing. Wish more people watched them.
Thank you Andy. Very well done. Looking forward to your next video 😊
This was absolutely amazing!
I love getting alerts for a new video! 🤗
Keep up the good work Andy your story's never disappoint
One of the best upcoming channels good job with the shorts and I hope people realise how much more interesting the videos are
Hidden stories are so fun to hear and watch that I subscribed
The part at the end just goes to show how power can override law. If a normal person is shown with photos abusing children, then they are arrested. If a cabinet member does the same, it's all covered up and nothing happens. It might've been that Britain didn't want bad press during the cold war or bribery or something because that is so horrible.
Wow and just when you thought the story was over. Thanks Andy see you next week!!
Cool video ❤️ I love these and they always make my day when you upload them 👍 hope you never stop doing these 😎
Brilliant thankyou🍀🍀🍀
Awesome video as always. God bless! :D

When you first had hidden stories, I just thought "yay, cool for Andy, but I don't think I'll be watching these"
But now actually wow these are so interesting your videos are so well made. You know? Like I mean it.
The pictures left behind could have been a get out of jail free card. 🙈🙉🙊

watching these has become apart of my weekly routine
Very cool, Andy. I really liked hearing about the heist and the newspaper embargo was interesting. Hope you make more long form vids for us wannabe Sherlocks out here.

Despite watching your shorts for months to a few years, this is the first actual full video I’ve watched from you haha😅
interesting content breh
Cool Video
Damn that story was sick. I'm surprised i never heard of this heist before.
Best 22 minutes of my life not even kidding 😅
“If you’re going to BE the best you’ll have to BEAT the best."
😂😂
This reminds me of that awesome movie with Denzel Washington and Clive Owens!! I can’t think of the name…
I have no problem with people stealing from a bank as long as they don't threaten or harm any staff.
It's pretend money made out of thin air,
and bits of metal and shiny stones.
Hi andy! I’m a big fan. First one to view and comment.
sad that your only known for your shorts. this stuff is great.
Hey, I know this place! In 1990 I studied at a London college, and I walked down Baker Street to the Tube station almost every day. The Chicken Inn is now Chicken Shop, still in the same location. Somewhere in a box of photos is the one I took of No. 239 Baker Street aka "221B Baker Street, address of Sherlock Holmes, Detective."
I never realized until now, noticing your sound dampening panels. But your sound is very good. I can't hear a bit of reverberation, which is really pleasant.
I guess you got inspired by Mr. Ballen. I really enjoy his story telling too. But I wish he would realize that the reverberation in his videos is a problem, when the core of the video is actually sound.
Please keep up the good work and this good quality!
The ending I was not seeing that coming.
Netflix should hire this guy
Charisma Stats coming in clutch once more.
I wanted this to be a Netflix documentary.
Then I remembered Cleopatra.
A musical will do.
i wish tihs tyoe of your videos got more views you are really good at this
Well, if I’m lucky, I could live to 2110, so I’ll keep this in mind 😂
It’s kinda like a relief when we know that the heist kinda succeeded
Awesome! Awesome video! 😉🙂
Of course, the moral of the story is that it's not the efficacy of the police that causes criminals to be caught, but the stupidity of the perpetrators. 🤣🤣🤣
nice
this should be made into a movie >w
Dang, that was well made!
But seriously, what are they trying to hide 🤨?
First (also I love your videos)
