DUDE this story had me hooked, I hope one day they find out what happened to him, I need that closure!!
Ayyyyyy, I love your videos!
@@Agentgreenblaze hahah thank you so much!!
@Lizeth Frias noo way haha appreciate that! Hope you’re well :))
I too
Dude I love you so much you’re video are so cool 😎
I feel like that kid Paul aka "heavy" kidnapped Bobby. The parents probably knew he wasn't the real Bobby, but couldn't bare the pain of losing a child. Since Bruce's mother didn't seem like a great mother( she let a man take away her son for a year and said nothing to the police) they probably gave that kid a better life.
A very interesting story that would probably do a great movie.
except he showed up with his brother still and bobby was left behind probably to sadly trip into quicksand.
also legal matters like child custody costed money even back then that a single mother mother who worked all day as a farmer wouldnt be able to cover... seems like she stilled cared greatly and was deeply wounded to continue to grieve the rest of her life after marriage (ps lots of kids is completely normal for any farmers anywhere in the world)
the feeling I got was pride, like they knew he wasn't their son but didn't want to admit they were wrong and they got a lot of attention, which they probably just loved.
Bruh Paul isn’t heavy Bobby is heavy
I cant believe that these videos have a maximum view count of 23k. It's ridiculous, these are quite literally the best videos I've EVER watched on RUclips. I hope it changes soon. Don't get discouraged Andy, you're doing an amazing job.
this is really validating to hear 🥲 comments like yours really go a long way, thank you!
@@andyyjiang ofc. Every week i keep thinking about the next story and what it'll be. Can't wait for next week's!
Was about to say the same
thats not how youtube works?
@@andyyjiang You can do it. Im literally addicted. You will make it successful for sure, because once someone watches one of your videos, they will always be loyal like we are.
This reminds me of a story i have seen somewhere of a woman who was assaulted by a man. During the crime she tried her best to memorise his appearance as best as she could. She would be presented with a line up of victims and she insisted that one of the men was her attacker with absolute certainty. The innocent man was thrown in jail and may have stayed for life but eventually he was released after the real criminal was identified.
Dang
I think youre talking about Ronald Cotton, and the real assailant looked a lot like him. The story is even crazier: Ronald and the victim are friends today, they travel around US and tell their story together. Without DNA he would still be in jail..
@@janemiettinen5176 yeah thats the one thanks! I remember that bit too. Lol being friends with the person who put you in jail is insane
Yep, heard that one. And saw pics of the perps also. They looked very alike.
I think there was a video by Ted-ex about how people mermory isn’t that good and can affect people view of the criminal regardless of how much they look alike.
Due to shorts completely demolishing our attention spans it might be difficult to get views on long form videos, nevertheless I hope this grows because the production quality, editing, and script is amazing in these! I really hope this gets bigger!
I think maybe Bobby Dunbar kept away from the lakes out of fear of the alligators, then died of thirst/starvation. This could explain why his body wasn’t found, since he could have travelled many kilometres before dying.
I love all your content especially your long form stories. I used to listen to other podcasts like this but you use so much emotion and energy to it. Keep it up
I agree 💯 I have been wanting longer videos from him. And so glad to have them
You know what makes this interesting apart from the story? It's how you deliver them! I'm so into it that i didn't realize it's almost the end. I really love real stories like this, it's that mystery we know that has a little chance to be discovered. Also i love the intro, I'm always ready to watch once the intro started. 😄
These videos deserve so much more views, the production quality is outstanding and your story telling capability and personality is unmatched. Love your videos man, and keep up the hard work
Please never stop making long form videos. I just love your story telling.
I wonder… if they did further comparisons, if they would find the real Bobby Dunbars children out in the world.
Or… if they found unidentified children who had died in the area ~ that they might find Bobby’s resting place.
Thank you Andy!
Poor little Bobby Dunbar. What a sad, intriguing story.
Andy, your storytelling skills are amazing. Absolutely loving your new content ❤❤❤
Im sooo glad you started uploading longer form content! I am a huge fan of your shorts, so happy to see this video
You are so very expressive when telling a story. You really get in to it. Love it.
I absolutely love this series, it's expressed in such a relaxing and perfect way to make me keep watching, please make more of this! :D
I have come to realize that with family the truth often puts you in prison rather than setting you free. A friend was ostracized for finding out that his family used to own slaves. Sad for her but I hope she doesn't regret revealing the truth. I am new here and like this MrBallen like format. Already subscribed.
Awesome job today. The pacing was perfect and you nailed the tension and suspense. Looking forward to the next one.
This video is so awesome! Was really hyped up for it!
I watched a short and then this video. I'm very impressed with your storytelling. One of my kitties just passed away on Friday, (today's Sunday), and I appreciate that I have you to take my mind off my loss. Thank you Andy.
I find your setup very comforting. It’s very powerful, how you’ve matched the background with your clothing and sets a very welcome contrast to the sense of unreality you get when listening to your stories.
Thanks Andy, really loving your longer videos ❤
I really can’t wait for a new hidden story it’s incredibly good and guaranteed on par with the 10’s of millions of view videos and despite the low views you have an amazing community and this is only the beginning of your story Andy! Earned a sub 🎉
this was the best story of this series by far in my opinion. excited for the next one!
Wow the way you break down the story is really appreciable..... It really held my attention till the very end🤗🤗.. good job dude ❣️
LOVE Hidden Stories.
All your content has always held my interest.
I’m officially sad… I’m out of hidden stories… I’ve watched them all!! 😢
Great content Andy! Thanks for the hard work with these!
I love the longer videos and how unique they are ❤
I came across your short clips on Instagram and got so excited when you announced that you’ll be doing longer videos thank youuuu!!
Andy,
Thanks again.
For the many stories yes, but more than that…
Andy, you’re a good person. You resonate with the good and positive in people and that comes through. You’re not preachy (thank goodness) but focusing on the good comes through even in talking about these bizarre stories. Stay true to yourself. It’s refreshing and a gift more important than your stories.
Awesome work man! Loving the long form content!
You Sir, are an amazing and very, very engaging storyteller. Thank you.😊
That's quite a riddle! Thank you for the story.
And this time the loudness of the background music was perfect! Keep it coming - I'll keep watching!
This stories and your way of telling them are absolutely fascinating😊
I like the longer videos. You tell a great story and it's good 'getting into it' over a longer period of time. I hope you enjoy doing them as much as we enjoy watching them... (there are 690 likes at the time of watching... :))
I love your channel! Always looking forward to new videos from you! You are impressive dude!🎉
Hidden Stories is the best thing I’ve ever watched Nice Job Andy
This was really good. You picked a very good story for a long form.
I love that most of your stories are positive. You are really good at what you do. Thank you
Great stories, I really enjoy the shorts.
Andy you are such a talented orator and your stories are so well researched. I don't know what you are studying for the future but I hope you plan to continue to be in the public. You definitely have the charisma for education or politics. Boy I love your enthusiasm.
Amazing story told by an amazing storyteller!
Intriguing and awesome!!!!!
Always nice videos to watch while eating breakfast.
fr though
Definitely the newest big RUclipsr🙌
Great work keep it up👍
why are you the best storyteller ever, can u teach me ur ways?
Wish your regular videos got as much attention like your shorts man. You’re probably one of my favorite RUclipsr’s keep it up bro!
Well, if he was in the lake, setting off dynamite might not have been the best idea to find his body intact. Just sayin'.
I love the “Mr. Ballen” feel of your video. Genuinely. You both have a great persona for story telling.
Nicely done.
This is so good! Am here before it gets 1 billion views
Reminds me of "Unsolved Mysteries". Excellent job!!
Totally fascinating story!
This story was crazy amd I've never heard of this before. Great story.
Wow! Thanks Andy 😊
Some of the greatest content on RUclips.
Does anyone think Dynamite may have blown him up ya think
Thanks Andy. Man what crazy situation.
I came from Instagram, I have been following you since the start till now, I love your work and I will continue to look forward to more of your videos and reels
I like this new video. Your a good storyteller and I’m looking forward to your next story. ❤
W video!! Keep up the w work on your long forms!! 🎉🎉❤
I like your voice, Andy. I could listen to you all evening. Thx.
Interesting is definitely an understatement.
At my advanced age, lol...I have never remembered more than just a glimpse before I was 4 yrs old. I always told my mother, that kids under 4 would go with just anyone and think they were their parents all along. As for the disappearance, was it ever said where the guy was that took him fishing? Lot of caves, holes, etc dot all over the south. Be easy to fall into and never be found. Great story.
Hey I love ur content, I was so into these types of vide as a kid and ur editing and voiceover just brings me back! Ur vids give me nostalgia and comfort, uhh even if they aren't on the most innocent topics 😂❤
this is one of the best compliments I could ever get 😆 I’m really glad!! thank you!
@Andy Jiang awh yayy broski ofc, keep doing you and good luck w the future of this channel!! U got this
Im sure the parents had doubts in the quiet moments at night, like who is he, is he really ours or did we take someone elses child.. I cant imagine living like that, year after year, selling myself on the idea I did the right thing!
You're probably right, but I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out the Dunbars wanted Bobby back so much they convinced themselves Bruce was actually Bobby, and so they never had doubts as a result.
@@beez1717 I remember another case like this, but it was about a girl. There the parents wanted the girl to be theirs so much, they convinced themselves to believe she was theirs, even if she was missing some scars and moles.. Human mind is powerful. (The real daughters remains were found years later in a field, if I remember right, neighbor had killed her. The girls parents just refused to believe it was her, that was an option before DNA..)
@@beez1717 what was this case called?
Love the Thumbnail pic! And of course the story!
in and outro, fire everything, fireeee :)
Cool story 😊
I remember reading about this a while back. Crazy story.
Haven't watched it yet but I'm excited
Very interesting story!
SUCH A GOOD VID
Interesting story!
What a great story, only if there were DNA testing back then. Even though Bobby Dunbar (aka Bruce Anderson) was given a better life, he had to of missed his real mom. Its good that the truth finally came out, even though it may have hurt some family members, i also would want to know the truth.
Can you, or have you done the Elizabeth Smart case? (Btw I love your content and you so much 🖤)
Oh my god.
How awful it must have been for all the parents involved.
another 11/10 vid!
This is wild!
Wow! That is a fantastic story and well told, to boot. It pulls at my imagination to think of what happened to the real Bobby Dunbar. I would be willing to bet that an alligator got him and then managed to escape being killed and cut open. I'm rally looking forward to your next strane story.
What a amazing story
Definitely interesting 🤔❤️
This video deserves way more views
He needs more support on these long form vids fr
Alright, here we go! Another awesome stor--did you just say ox tongue?
The stories he tells are amazing
People should subscribe
Yoooo! Long form content? I hope to see more because these may help with lengthening our short attention spans 😅😂😂😊
Amazing story! I couldn't imagine a missing person story where someone is both lost and found.
The simplest explanation as to Bobby's whereabouts is some combination of the lake and animals. I'd guess he fell into the lake, drowned, and was dragged by a crocodile far away from the lake. The lake is very small (more like a wide part of the a creek), so I doubt that they missed him if he was still in the lake, but in the hours between when they were searching on land and started looking in the water an animal could have taken him miles from their search location. " When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle/Sherlock Holmes
Will do, Andy x
I heard about this story from somewhere else. Its trippy.
The son of the poor Julia Anderson was raised by a rich couple and had all the luxuries and education a kid can hope for. i see this as an absolute win, knowing your child is well looked after (after all her earlier kids died within 1 year of birth??! Come on!!!)
Yea but this led to an innocent man being sent to prison almost for life if it wasnt for a technicality and tarnished reputation of Julia for fighting to get her son back. Dohble edged sword really
fun and entertaining :)
i am here... sitting down... eating a sub... watching these... and u cant stop me
Man your shorts are high quality but long videos are on another level but still shorts get more views.I hope long videos get more views one day
Did Paul ever give a deathbed confession or at least more insight as to what happened during his declining years?
The teaser trailers work well to get people to watch videos keep doing them
Love your vids Andy and I have a video idea it’s about another kid who went missing it’s ryker the 4 year old who went missing and was found 2 miles away from where he went missing and was perfectly fine 🤔
In those days the family name meant everything. If a daughter turned up pregnant out of wedlock, she was thrown out, to fend for herself. Looks like that's what happened to this boy's birth mother, causing her to labor in the fields and entrust his care to another. Family honor would also have played a huge role once he'd been claimed by his new family. In no way could they afford to go back on it once they had laid claim to another family's child. That was a done deal. So when his modern day descendant met such disapproval when she went digging up the past, that's why, and it's why the older members of the family still turn away. She exposed the family shame, and shamed the family name.
