I am utterly gobsmacked! This was an amazing performance of what I have often thought was a very difficult song for anyone to sing - other than Freddie, of course. Tom knocked it out of the park! I have never seen this video before. It just suits him so well and his voice. Looks like a wee boy living out his dream, beaming from ear to ear, strutting about the stage like his hero!
Tom has to be one of the most competent singers there are right now, seriously, I sat through the entire thing with my mouth open, completely speechless! How have I not seen this before!?
I told all my friends, after I bought Keane's second album, "under the iron sea" that he could fill in for Freddy!!!! They laughed at me! Years later I got to show them this and watch them eat their words!!! Even the band said they never heard Freddy perform it that well live!! The guy is Vocally Freddy reborn!!!
Flawless performance by a very sweet and humble guy. I'm really happy he did this. If anyone deserves to perform alongside Queen, it's Tom Chaplin. I LOVED this.
Bravo! Bravo! 👏👏👏 Queen and Tom Chaplin together WOW! 👏👏👏👏👏 Tom Chaplin is an incredibly wonderful singer! ❤ What voice! What a fantastic performance! Bravo! 👏👏👏👏
Tom Chaplin! The best ever! Not just a great manly angelic voice, his performances are always moving, impecable. He improves every original version! 🫶💫✨️💯
Adam Lambert could learn a lot from this guy - and I'd pay a lot of money to see Tom play a full set with Queen.
Never in a million years would I have thought Tom Chaplin could do justice to a Queen song. I am so glad to have been proven very, very wrong. Bravo!
O.O Tom Chaplin is the best vocalist I have ever heard. Why is he so underrated? He is AMAZING!
thats so insane how much he sounds like freddie! i've never heard someone so close. even the way he phrases the lines and moves his voice around. wow.
Tom is an incredible singer. Seriously underrated. No difference between the studio and live an amazing talent.

Tom is the only one in the whole world who can pull off singing instead of Freddie. Amazing, he actually sounds like him in some parts
Holy crap!!! ❤ What a performance. I love Tom’s voice but this was astonishing. Right there with George Michael’s Freddie tribute.

Tom Chaplin - such an incredible natural talent! One of the best voices of this generation.. Queen & Keane forever! ❤
Tom Chaplin - one of the best voices of our times!
I just love Tom's face when Brian plays his solo and Tom is playing air guitar...... It's priceless!
this is real music and Tom just owned the stage and owned the song. Freddie would have been proud of this. Man, one of May's best solos.
By coincidence I came across this performance, even though it was recorded more then 10 years ago.
For me Freddie and Tom are great singers of our time... ever been
