If you are, aim your SAED towards the head so the phials explode near the head. Tail gone? Hit the body. Just let the hammer bro do his head bonk thing without tripping him.

The Wiggler Hat is the single most endearing silly piece of headwear ever, made even better from the fact that it actually has practical usage. A huge green monstrosity pops up literally out of nowhere and insta-kills the great jaggi. Holy crap! What in the world is that?! That is shock value and was completely unexpected. "A Simple Task" is a clever way of capcom either poking fun at us/trolling, or a combination of that and something else. It would be OBVIOUS IF the deviljho DID appear in that event quest. There'd be no surprise. You were already anticipating the encounter, so there isn't any shock value. What they did in MHTri/3 I am almost adamant they want to do something similar in MH World.

Not to mention its a HR30 quest because of that people thought "Why would you need to be HR30 for some gathering?" and the quest client said they needed a capable hunter for some odd happenings in the forest or something. So it makes sense we would assume its Deviljho

No joke, i had the PERFECT setup for that to happen. I found a Gakalaka shellshock spot, was stacked on supplies, put in some Def Lock decos, and had every meat trap ready. I tapped on a mushroom and stood waiting for like 15 minutes, making me then gather the rest of the mushrooms thinking that it would be a surprise 2-part quest where Jho would appear after i gather the shrooms...then the quest just ended. Afterwards i just stared at the bounty board confused and thinking if i did something wrong for a few minutes.
I think the scout fly whip lash has even gotten worse sometimes when I find a monster before they do they snap my neck in a 180 to look back then 180 again to "find" the monster Im like yee thanks -_-
Make it easier and just have each color be a different armor set. As for weapons, they could do what MVC did just have the hunter use different weapons for different attacks. (Each weapon matching the color set.)
My idea: The "Monster Hunter" character uses a variety of weapons for different attacks. The Great Sword would be the charge attack, obviously, the bowgun or bow for some ranged mixups for the special attack. The Insect Glaive for the recover move. Hell, the slinger can be used as a grab. (Like, the hunter nets the opponent he/she grabs.) the slinger could also be used as a means of ledge recovery, like how Link or Samus use their grab to recover. Anyway, the alt costumes can just be different armor sets, or even three sets of armor with their variant monster being the different color scheme. THE HUNTER CAN EVEN ARRIVE ON STAGE WITH THE WINGDRAKE, FUCK.

Brian Leucht tell your friend to stop going for the head. No point going for the head with a greatsword in co-op as the greatsword does zero ko damage and has the same dps on any crit spot. Basically he should focus the tail while you focus the head.
I attack where I'm needed. I don't want to whittle the monster's health down by attacking a part that's already been broken and prevent my teammates from breaking another part because the monster dies too early. Once the tail has been severed, I target the wings, claws, or head, whichever affords the least risk of getting hit by the monster.
you should make a reference to the rathalos flying around the whole god dam map making you chase him everywhere ( in the ancient forest ) to then lead you back up the tree at point one where you started the chase .

I haven’t had to do that yet though, because I never recruit trolls in the first place. But trolling good players who don’t deserve to get treated like that, is something that the MH community never tolerates. I only enjou messing up trolls, but I never do it to good players. lol

This was my first MH game but i knew what “A Simple Task” was, so that was literally me when going into that quest.
No joke, i had the PERFECT setup for that to happen. I found a Gakalaka shellshock spot, was stacked on supplies, put in some Def Lock decos, and had every meat trap ready. I tapped on a mushroom and stood waiting for like 15 minutes, making me then gather the rest of the mushrooms thinking that it would be a surprise 2-part quest where Jho would appear after i gather the shrooms...then the quest just ended.
Afterwards i just stared at the bounty board confused and thinking if i did something wrong for a few minutes.
So. Many. Hours. Wasted.

I think the scout fly whip lash has even gotten worse sometimes when I find a monster before they do they snap my neck in a 180 to look back then 180 again to "find" the monster Im like yee thanks -_-

Make it easier and just have each color be a different armor set.
As for weapons, they could do what MVC did just have the hunter use different weapons for different attacks. (Each weapon matching the color set.)

My idea:
The "Monster Hunter" character uses a variety of weapons for different attacks. The Great Sword would be the charge attack, obviously, the bowgun or bow for some ranged mixups for the special attack. The Insect Glaive for the recover move. Hell, the slinger can be used as a grab. (Like, the hunter nets the opponent he/she grabs.) the slinger could also be used as a means of ledge recovery, like how Link or Samus use their grab to recover.
Anyway, the alt costumes can just be different armor sets, or even three sets of armor with their variant monster being the different color scheme.
THE HUNTER CAN EVEN ARRIVE ON STAGE WITH THE WINGDRAKE, FUCK.

I try not to flash when people mount, though I'm really bad at being trigger-happy when someone mounts Teo. Just a reflex for when he jumps in the air like that to flash him down...

Brian Leucht tell your friend to stop going for the head. No point going for the head with a greatsword in co-op as the greatsword does zero ko damage and has the same dps on any crit spot. Basically he should focus the tail while you focus the head.

I attack where I'm needed. I don't want to whittle the monster's health down by attacking a part that's already been broken and prevent my teammates from breaking another part because the monster dies too early. Once the tail has been severed, I target the wings, claws, or head, whichever affords the least risk of getting hit by the monster.

No offense, but I always kick and block trolls in MH games. And if you’re new to the series you probably don’t know this, but people in this community are not tolerant with trolls. xD (New players might be an exception, but the old MH community still does not tolerate that stuff)
We always block trolls, and that can also get you permanently kicked from squads. I haven’t had to do that yet though, because I never recruit trolls in the first place.
But trolling good players who don’t deserve to get treated like that, is something that the MH community never tolerates. I only enjou messing up trolls, but I never do it to good players. lol

they almost always have either weird names like "vain" or anime names, had a guy named "kirito" join and he almost cost us the quest, then yell at me through xbox dms when i kicked them from the quest for constantly tripping the 2 hammer users while i kept spamming "cut the tail, LS user"
